40 Hours

The wee hours of the morning.

A pretty pine cone

Jake put in 40 hours at the office this week. All the staff loved Jake; he got so much attention he was worn out by early afternoon today.

Jake’s version of TGIF!

Veteran’s Honor is a huge bloom.

Venus riding the clouds.

Sandias at dusk with Canadian Geese wading in the Rio Grande as they prepare to roost for the night.

  1. Jake looks like one happy dog! A little tired, but a happy fellow. I enjoyed all your photos, Tim. The Sandias was a nice one to end the set.

Plenty of geese activity up here, too. I was out walking in the afterglow. Watched hem head towards Foster Lake, the first stars and planets winking on. Plenty of insects stridulating away on a 60 degree evening.

    • Jake is a happy dog. We should start seeing Sandhill Cranes in a few weeks. We have a warm wind blowing tonight, and it’s still 78 degrees outside. Thanks, Lavinia.

    • I’m so happy you liked the pine cone. You’re the first one to mention it. Tristan said Jake is depressed now because he got so much attention. I also played fetch with him every afternoon. He doesn’t play fetch with Tristan, probably because he hates their other dog. Thanks, JYP.

  2. Veteran’s Honor is gorgeous,, spectacular.

Jake is adorable. No wonder you guys wore him out.

Thanks for the fab shots, Tim! xx
