We took a long walk in the bosque this morning, and Freyja got to splash around in the Rio Grande, as you can see in the above video.

Hmmm! It looks like a waterwheel. But what would we or the cats need a waterwheel for?
Oh! It looks like Marble is hiding something.
Marble: “It’s a Kittywheel! You stupid Paparazzo. You didn’t even know what you put together!

Sasha thinks it’s quite comfy, but she hasn’t figured out that she’s supposed to walk on the Kittywheel.

The kitty wheel is fabulous. It is fun to see the things you come up with. Maybe some day there will be a video of the cats walking in the kitty wheel. 🤞🙂

That is a great kittywheel, Tim! A work of art, too! I never ceased to be amazed at your unending supply of talent in various areas! I wonder if positioning a treat part way up, just out of reach, might get them going on it.
Once they get comfortable with the wheel being part of the deck furniture, I’ll try a laser pointer to motivate them to walk on the wheel. I thank that might work pretty well. Thanks, Lavinia.

Freyja is a happy and healthy doggie having great fun. The kitty wheel is amazing and they will figure it out. Maybe put a bag of catnip tapped to the top and she may figure it out. Gorgeous sunset. We are blessed with some beautiful sunsets too. Much hugs and lots of love, Joni

Looks like Freyja is having a blast – Ruger saw the video over my shoulder and is now demanding I fill his pool so he can go swimming. He also saw the kitty wheel which prompted an immediate “NO!” from me ha.
