Splish Splash, Birdie Taking A Bath…

…along about a Saturday night!

I caught Jack Sparrow taking a bath in the irrigation ditch.

Dip. Flap and flutter. ¡Hasta las vista! Paparazzo!”

A Lesser Goldfinch was banging a seed on the branch to get it open and then holding it in its beak before it flew off. Click on photos to enlarge.

  1. Wow! The owlets are all white fluffy. They look beautiful.

My tree is so green.Everything is speeding by.

You have the most beautiful birds, Tim.

Still, the pigeons here have some lovely makings.

    Have a fab Sunday!xo

    • We have to get the owlets to look at us. They generally ignore us. Thanks, Rebecca.

  2. A nice assortment of birds, Tim. I especially love the Willa series. She makes a good model! The Painter has been very busy down your way. Rain all day up here and more tonight. I am grateful for it. Come summer’s heat, I will miss it.

  3. What a great selection again today, Tim. What amazing birds you have nearby. They seem to pose for you? Just looking at the sky shots makes me jealous. Hehehe! Cheers!

  4. Love the blue heron pics. Not sure what happened, but ended up needing to resubscribe. I wondered why I wasn’t seeing your posts 🤷🏻‍♀️

  5. Wow…great shots and the heron’s color is gorgeous. Fluffy owlets and a bird with a mission, to open a seed. Who could ask for more than that. Oh, wait. No cats. LOL

  6. Becoming quite the birder Tim! Always enjoy seeing the Lesser’s. We do not have them up here and always smile when we run into them on our RGV trips. We do have the Golden’s but I just like the look of the Lesser’s better. Willa and Walter with visions of gophers on sticks dancing in their heads.
