…along about a Saturday night!
I caught Jack Sparrow taking a bath in the irrigation ditch.

Dip. Flap and flutter. ¡Hasta las vista! Paparazzo!”

A Lesser Goldfinch was banging a seed on the branch to get it open and then holding it in its beak before it flew off. Click on photos to enlarge.

Western Bluebird and a Flycatcher

Blue Heron. Blue day. Bird shots going my way!

Willa and Walter trying to get a little shuteye this morning.

The many faces of Willa

Wow! The owlets are all white fluffy. They look beautiful.
My tree is so green.Everything is speeding by.
You have the most beautiful birds, Tim.
Still, the pigeons here have some lovely makings.
Have a fab Sunday!xo
Their pinfeathers were reflecting the sun. Lots of pretty birds out and about. Thanks, Resa.
Ahh…pinfeathers. New word to me.
Wonderful bird action shots! Those little owls appear to always have an eye on you. 🙂
We have to get the owlets to look at us. They generally ignore us. Thanks, Rebecca.
A nice assortment of birds, Tim. I especially love the Willa series. She makes a good model! The Painter has been very busy down your way. Rain all day up here and more tonight. I am grateful for it. Come summer’s heat, I will miss it.
We got a slight sprinkling of rain. Nothing measurable. Thanks, Lavinia.
Oh, sweet feathers galore! Love the many faces of Willa.
Happy Sunday!
Willa is a great model. Thanks, Marina.
Beautiful images…I love to watch birds taking a bath:)
I do, too.
Thanks, Janet.
The bird bath is lovely.
Thanks, Roberta.
What a treat to get so many bird photos this morning!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
What a lovely treat! So many varieties all in one post. Wonderul.
Thanks, Dale.
😊
What a great selection again today, Tim. What amazing birds you have nearby. They seem to pose for you? Just looking at the sky shots makes me jealous. Hehehe! Cheers!
Laurie thought the Heron did a flyby to be photographed. Thanks, Inchie.
Oh, yes, you’ve got the knack with the wild life, Sir! Laurie was right methinks.
Fun images Tim.
Thanks, Brad.
It was a good day for the birds!
It was. Thanks, Tiffany.
Love the blue heron pics. Not sure what happened, but ended up needing to resubscribe. I wondered why I wasn’t seeing your posts 🤷🏻♀️
WP unsubscribes people at random and for no reason.. Thanks, Ingrid.
Wow…great shots and the heron’s color is gorgeous. Fluffy owlets and a bird with a mission, to open a seed. Who could ask for more than that. Oh, wait. No cats. LOL
No cats is a problem. There are cats in tonight’s post. Thanks, Gigi.
Saw them. Adorable. Always love seeing your cats. :) The owlets are getting so big.
They are so adorable.
They are. You are so fortunate to see them everyday.
They sure are going your way.. amazing pictures, Tim. Those blue heron are amazing shots. ❣️
Thanks, Cindy.
Fabulous flight photos.
Thanks, Shey. How as your Trip?
Well….. the Mr has his anxiety probs you know and they were through the roof, so I’d say not as I’d hoped but hey, Prague is lovely
Too bad. I was looking forward to stories of you all being rowdy and getting kicked out of taverns and such. At least you got out and about in a lovely place.
Well we did visit a hospital after the hubby convinced themself that a bad case of indigestion was a heart attack…….
Heart attacks are often confused with fart attacks. Hospitals are not fun vacation spots.
You could say.
How very special to have these magnificent birds nearby. And thanks for sharing Tim.
You are welcome, Miriam.
Becoming quite the birder Tim! Always enjoy seeing the Lesser’s. We do not have them up here and always smile when we run into them on our RGV trips. We do have the Golden’s but I just like the look of the Lesser’s better. Willa and Walter with visions of gophers on sticks dancing in their heads.
I’m not birder, but I photograph most birds I see. Thanks, Brian.
