Reflecting The Light Fantastic

Sunset

Light reflections on the wall

Willa had a grumpy look because Walter was out of the nest tonight. I could not get a photo of him out of the nest because of branches and leaves blocking my focus. I walked down the bank through the leaves to see if I could get a clear shot of Walter out of the nest. I couldn’t, but all the noise I made scared him, and he belly-flopped back into the nest. The second and third photos show Walter peeking around the edge of the nest. Nora Owl was hooting a grocery list for Osric, but we did not hear any response from Osric. He was still out shopping.

  1. ✒️but all the noise I made scared him, and he belly-flopped back into the nest.✒️

😂, love how you caught him

“Well good to see you Walter, how are the all the buttercups doing?”

    say it Willa, say it

  2. I’m always scared to open an instrument. A few years ago I had to open my Prophet-5 synth to place a expansion memory board inside. It was a very scary experience…

    • I don’t find guitar electronics as scary as annoying when you can’t figure why somethings not working. Especially when it could be any number of things. Replacing cards and memory can be scary, since you can mess things up. Thanks, Herman.

  3. Sunset is gorgeous. I, too, love to photograph the light on the walls. Yours are mighty cool. Love the owlets, of course and Willa does look grumpy! Chicken-Charlie Walter 😉

I’m in awe that you can put that mess into a working guitar.

  4. The sunset photo reminds me a little of a Maxfield Parrish painting. A beautiful composition, Tim, as are the artistic reflections on the wall.

Always love the owl updates. Walter and Willa are growing up quickly! Osric and Nora will be ready for a break in care duties very soon, I bet.

I am sure that guitar will sound great when you have finished it.

  5. The opening shot is like a fairy tale. It’s idyllic looking.

Willa and Walter are hilarious, and growing quickly!

    Fun post, Tim! xo

  6. Oh noise, hate to see a fine looking guitar with its guts hanging out – best of luck of getting it back to its righteous glory. That is one grumpy look you got, were you making fun of its mommy!?

    • The problem with the guitar is it’s never seen righteous glory. Joel was building it and when he could get the electronics to work, he gave to me to finish. Willa was cranky because Walter was out of the nest and she wasn’t. Thanks, Brian.
