Beautiful photos, Tim! I love that cloud cap on the Sandias and the daffodils.
It was in the upper 60s here yesterday, and the porch thermometer read 80 the day before. Mornings have been cold, down in the 30s. A couple more days of sun and we go back to rain for a bit.
All the trees, except the Catalpa are putting on buds. The Catalpa got severe cold damage in 2005, which nearly killed it. I has budded and bloomed very late ever since.
Beautiful home, Tim!
Yes, the chitalpa looks barren. Still, it’s got a great shape. Will it eventually fill in over the summer, or is that it?
There’s something poetic about it.
The fifth image captures my eye. I love when the clouds are on the mountains but the colors and reflections below are crystal clear. I forget the name of the red plants along the River, but I think of the times my mother and I went down to the Bosque del Apache or the smaller wildlife area this side of BdA. Driving back to Albuquerque at sunset in winter those reddish plants really stood out, like in your picture. I don’t remember them standing out in spring or summer. Anyway, I really like your picture.
We have a fairly mild winter with regards to the standard tundra in the Midwest – still not mild enough for us to not migrate south ha. Started out our latest trip to the RGV with 7 straight days of rain, but I must say quite pleasant these last several days enjoying the salt life.
Hi Timothy, lots of dark cloud. I love the daffodils.
Thanks, Roberta.
You and pTerodactyl are enjoying the day… wait, me too! Beautiful skies and pop of yellow.
Thanks, Marina.
These photographs have a painterly quality and lovely to see that your daffs are blooming…Spring is with us:)
Thanks, Janet.
Spring is battling through…
It’s trying. Thanks, Couriers.
Oh you have daffodils. I am so jealous> All this is really late here this year. Lovely to see.
The daffs are daffing. Thanks, Shey.
Daffing bonnie.

Our morning temps have been in the lower 30s. The highs have been in the 50s with cold winds. Thanks, Lavinia.
Love the stormy clouds and mountain views.
Thanks, Brad.
I feel that you have taken me to the land that time forgot, Tim. Exquisite!
Thanks, Rebecca.
Very strange weather patterns since last summer when the earth was on fire. Lovely pics. Love the daffodils, they brighten the day.
Thanks, Holly.
The first photo has a painterly feel to it that I find appealing.
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Great shots, Tim!
It does look wintery, even without snow.
Except for the daffodil! xx
My tree & all the trees must be close to bud time.

Catalpa tree? Which one is that?
I don’t show it on the blog much. Go here from photos of it from 2017: https://photos.tandlphotos.com/blog/2017/5/garden-view

The tree looks dead until well into summer.

Thanks, Susan. They are a type of willow probably a sandbar willow, narrowleaf willow, or coyote willow, but I can’t say for sure.

That’s good you had nice weather while being salty. It’s been cold all week here. Thanks, Brian.
It sure does look like it is paddleboarding! Clever bird ..
Thanks, Julie.
