It so made me think of it, with words to do with the images . Gosh, now i am thinking of the time me and my then bosom buddy acted that scene out in my bedroom. She wa sthe 7 Von tTrapp chidlren and i was Marie. My mam, drawn by the racket we were making, dancing off of beds and dressing tables, came upstairs and whacked me one. I don’t know if it was cos I had totally wrecked this jersey she’d knitted by wearing it back to front or cos I said it was just like that awful dress Maria was wearing.

There is a cream-colored pony next door, and lots of geese with the moon on their wing round here. But crisp apple strudels, doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles are foreign to me.
Well, I installed a doorbell at the office. “Ding dong the witch is dead” and people don’t have to call to be let in or wait in the man trap to be noticed if they don’t have our number. It used to be we always had a receptionist and the front door were open from 8 to 5, but ¡nada mas!. Everything has to be secured these days. I hadn’t realized how convenient a simple witch killer is.
That is brill. Quite a deterent. I mind once way back putting up a painting of a skull and a poker with blood on it one Halloweend with a sign, ‘Abandon hope all ye who ring this bell.’ I genuinely did it to encourage trick or treaters, instead I could hear them running away screaming up the steps. Thank you again for this great post. Oh and the words of the son.g
You must have ended up with a lot of treats since you scared the trick-ors away. Our property is scary with real monsters, so we have never had trick or treaters.
Nice moonset caught in the trees, and it is always a pleasure to see the creatures of the bosque. Wile E. “Dapper Dan” Coyote does look handsome, and seems to be smiling for his portrait.
I think he thinks he’s a pet hanging around with us like he does. Most coyotes are ¡Hasta la vista! Baby! i don’t want to see you again.” Thanks, Resa.
ah…these are a few of my favorite things……
Love this song, Shey

I would assume both got you whacked. And you were only two girls wanting to have fun.
Haha, Shey, you naughty girl you. I’m pretty sure it was the second comment that earned you the whack.

Nice and peaceful.
Thanks, Heidi.
Very handsome Wile E enjoying the moonset. Pensive Mama Owl enjoying the sunset. Me enjoying the lot!
Daddy owl was the pensive one thinking on either side of Mama in the triptych. Wile E. is a handsome boy. I think he knows it, too. Thanks, Marina.
Of course he knows it! 😉
You’re so right about the handsome Wile E. The owl portraits are appealing, too.
Laurie asked why I hadn’t mentioned the owls are handsome, also. That goes without saying. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
I love mama owl. Your coyote remind me of our black backed jackels.
Coyotes and jackels might have common ancestors. Thanks, Roberta.
👍💞

He was happy last night. Thanks, Lavinia.
Every photo of Wile E. is great and in this one he is looking quite handsome, yes. Beautiful captures!
Thanks, Michele.
Nice moonsets and owl photos Tim.
Thanks, Brad!
Nice Tim. We just watched both of those from the coast.
Cool. Thanks, Brad.
Moon + Owls = Mowls.
Feeling a bit giddy over her.
Wile E. is such a handsome boy. Too bad they don’t make pets. xx

Wile E. is very handsome and that moon is beautiful. Wonderful to see the owls.
Thanks, Dale.
That is a handsome Wile E…. deadly and conniving, but definitely handsome.
He acts pretty chill. Thanks, Brian.
Wile E sure is looking very handsome! Mama owl is not to be outdone .. looking as lovely as ever
He’s a pretty boy. Thanks, Julie.
