Roundabout

Sunrise

I made a roundabout between Corrales and Rio Rancho while running errands in the late afternoon.

View of the Sandias from the border between Corrales and Rio Rancho.

Looking south from the border.

A partial rainbow was a pleasant surprise.

The base of the Monzanos covered with snow.

Black lace trees at sunset

    • Fortunately, we have few roundabouts out here, and the ones we have make to sense other than some idiot traffic engineers thought it would be cool to try and be like Europe. It was funny to be out in the middle of nowhere in Spain and have to use roundabouts at crossroads. The big roundabouts are like free for all automobile merry-go-rounds. Thanks, Liz.

    • The face of the Sandias looks somewhat smooth and flat from the point of view from our property and from the river where I usually take photos. But you can see how rugged the Sandias are from the view four miles north lighted by the low winter sun. Thanks, Lavinia.

  1. What a gift you’ve given us with your roundabout photos, Timothy!
Merry Christmas to you and Laurie and of course Tristan and hubs!

  2. Terrific shots,Tim.
The Sandias pis is spectacular. It’s always a shock when you post a pic with all the antennae on them.
Monzanos.. gorgeous. Have you shown them before? xx
