Really enjoyed these dreamy sky photos, Timothy, especially the sandhill crane silhouettes. I’m glad you got some rain at last. It’s not much but it’s better than nothing, as you say. Also dazzled by that very cool header image.
Beautiful moonrise shot, Tim. It’s from a story. I don’t know which one.
Love the kitty cloud.

Our 3″s of snow has finally dissolved thanks to the three days of constant rain we have had since the end of November. Good for the wells, but bad for my running goals ugh. I am glad to hear you got some rain down there though.
Rain and snow make great camo for the tree roots of all evil lying in wait for unsuspecting running. Also makes those roots slicker than oily snot on a greasy doorknob. Thanks, Brian.
Still trying to work out TDITC?
David Redpath figured it out. Remember Tricky Dicky, Nixon?
Many remember Nixon as Nixon, not as Tricky Dick.
I would expect few know him as Tricky Dicky. But there would be little fun in using the obvious. Thanks, Danzig.
That’s a lot of rain to deal with…. ahem. I can’t even imagine it.
And yes, methinks that is definitely a kitty cloud!
It’s at least enough rain to get everything wet and leave a few puddles. Thanks, Dale.
True enough. Hopefully December brings you more.
The forecast is for a wet winter. I hope they are right.
I hope so, too! Sending you wet winter vibes!
I am glad you are getting some rain down there. I hope the forecasters are correct and you will get a wet winter. This summer was way too dry.
That does look like a kitty cloud.
Thanks, Lavinia.
Wonderful! Rained here too.
Happy to hear you got rain, also. Thanks, Michele.
I immediately recognised a kitty in that cloud. Beautiful, Tim!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Thanks, Herman. You too.
You have an angry Klingon in the last photo.
Could be. Thanks, Danzig.
Mesmerizing pictures of birds flying in the sky!
Thanks, YC.
Subtle colors. Lovely.
Thanks, Shey.
I love the angle at which you took the second photo.
I had to go super-wide-angle and almost straight up to get the kitty. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Happy to hear about the rain!
Kitty cloud [definitely], cranes traveling, a straggler and a sunset for a great day ahead! 🙏
And here we are in December. Only thirty-days before we end another year. Thanks, Marina.
Amazing how fast this one went…

Thanks, Jet.
It’s good your getting rain
It is. Thanks, Robbie.
The cranes in the pink sky!
We have had rain as well! The desert loves the rain!
That is so true. Thanks, Nancy.
1.12 in rain works out to be 10-12 inches of snow.
Thanks, Deborah.
The clouds in your sunset photo look a bit like North and South America, with just a bit of imagination.
I can see that. Thanks, Brad.
Splendid photos Tim. It was “rainy” here all that day, but we only got a few drops. Still, a pleasant change though. Hugs.
A little rain is better than no rain. Thanks, Teagan.

You can turn on email notifications under manage subscriptions. WP is always messing with stuff.
It is on. Maybe if I turn it off, then on again it will work.
Perhaps.
… ya….

I think I best stay inside on the treadmill until this blows over ha.
Whoa! That sounds reasonable. I get the feeling Linda has peddled a little influence.
Good news on the rain .. sure looks like a kitty cloud
Thanks, Julie.
