Beaver Moon Rises Again

Clear sky at dawn

After the clouds cleared last night, the morning’s low was 19ºF (-7.2ºC). There was not a cloud in the sky all day. The high was 41ºF (5ºC) at 3:00 pm when I hit the ditch banks for my daily ride.

Beaver Moon rising in a clear sky. Jupiter looks on.

Glenda: “Why do stinking beavers get a moon and kitties don’t?” Good Question.

  1. That’s right, Glenda! Why aren’t there any kitty moons?
I’m so glad I got some pictures yesterday because tonight? Nuthin’ but clouds.
    Your shot is bootiful!

  2. That is an interesting photo of Glenda. Her eyes blink along with the scrollbar movement. How did you do that?

That is a beautiful clear dawn sky, all my favorite colors in there. Your morning low had us beat. It was 22 degrees and clear here this morning. It’s been a beautiful warm day, and I took care of garden cleanup and mulching.

    • I have no idea on blinking eyes. Hmmm! It was 21 and clear when I got up bet then clouds started flowing across the sky and swallowed up the setting moon. Thanks, Lavinia.

      • Seems to be some strange interaction with the WP reader. Sometimes your posts tend to jump up and down in the Reader lineup like a bat signal. Those posts are a moving target and I have to type in the name of your blog in the search to get at it. Trying to catch the “moving post entry” is next to impossible.

  3. “Holy Beavers, Batman! Glenda’s eyes are following us.”

“No, Boy Wonder. It’s just WP messing with us. They’ve now added the block editor to the comment box.”
