What a beautiful moonrise, Tim! My favorite is the moonrise over the Sandias reflecting in the water. There is a song “Moonlight On Dark Water” by Les and Marry Warren (they called their duo “Daybreak”) that comes to mind looking at that photo. They used to travel around New Hampshire playing, and I stumbled across them one year when on a brief vacation in winter about 30 years ago. I have not been able to find them over the years and only have one tape they made, I bought it at that show. Lovely songs and very nice people.
We had a clear night up here, and cold again. Barely 25 degrees this morning. A touch cloudy this morning.
Beautiful Images… I watched a flock of Geese flying south for winter the other day overhead Tim.. There must have been at least 200 of them… I heard them before I saw them Lol 🙂 What a Gaggle of Geese they were lol 🙂
A lot of those geese stay around here all year. Some may fly to Canada, but I think most are expats. Your tree was blushing as the Hunter’s Moon rose. Thanks, Resa.
So beautiful.
I try to make Holly’s hair that colour when she’s PBH!
I’m working on a post that will segue into a Gowntoons episode. Finally!
Now that Midnight Nightingale is done, I’m drawing more.
The new gown is started, but it’s a different deal, time wise.
Okay! Back to drawing and sewing!xx
I’m celebrating it too along with the [fortunate] geese, this very beautifully dramatic Hunter Moon! Wonderful reflection and colors. Sigh…
Thanks, Marina. Did you see the partial eclipse of the Hunter’s Moon?
I saw nada! 😔
I’m not sure it was very noticeable, but it was supposed to be visible in your neck of the woods.
I saw the Moon but for some reason, didn’t check times or whether it was visible here. Typical right?!
I didn’t get the notice in time to tell you to look for it.
with our house hunting and everything I probably wouldn’t have seen it anyway…. I’ve got a brain about to burst! 😱🤣
Fabulous images especially the first one…thank you
Thanks, Janet.
The first photo is stunning. The moon was so bright last night, it looked as if a floodlight had been turned on to illuminate our lilac bushes.
It was bright. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
These are breathtaking, especially the first one.
Thanks, Shey.
Fabulous – mystery and harmony comes through your photography! Tim!
Thanks, Rebecca.

Thanks, Lavinia. Is this the song: https://youtu.be/3bnoFRs3pTI?si=uTw4hfbSs8NnPHlU?
That’s it!!!! Thank you! I will look into them. I wonder if it is the same Mary in a new duo?
Here is another link. She is the same Mary. No mention of Les here.

Mary’s still kickin’, but Les probably passed on. I checked out their covers. They are well done. Her voice worked very well on Radar Love.
I too, suspect Les passed on. They were a good duo, sounded great.
I found nothing about the original duo. Not much on this duo other than the video.

They are noisy. Thanks, Sue.
🙂
Love that you can capture the moonrise like this! Gorgeous! I did, after all, manage to capture it, too. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cy-IprvMbcx/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
I love the big ring around the moon in your photo. Beautiful photo. Thanks, Dale.
Thank you, Timothy. I was pretty pleased with that one 🙂
As you should be.
🙂
Magico!
Thanks, Jeff.
I’m clapping woth the geese Tom with these incredible captures Tim!
💕
Thanks, Cindy.
Stunning opening shot!
I wonder if those Geese ever come to Canada?
Is that my tree dressed in red?
What a glorious red.
xx

Such beautiful moonrise photos
Thanks, Julie.
Very cool hunter’s moon shots. Also really like that third shot – I’m a sucker for rich red hues in the trees.
Thanks, Brian.
