27 Days to AIBF

Dawn

A thunderstorm passed through this afternoon and produced 0.02 inches of rain. Not much precipitation, but looking on the bright side, that was double the rainfall we got in July.

Balloons were flying this morning. We should start seeing more balloons as the Balloon Fiesta draws near.

  1. Beautiful photos, Tim. Looking forward to the balloon festival. I hope you get good weather for that, and rain when you want it. We’ve had a little rain here, but it is back to dry.

  2. I spent a little time in Rio Rancho last month and was surprised when several mornings I saw balloons out the window. I said “this must be early preparation for the Balloon Fiesta.” The response was, “oh, it’s just the Rainbow Riders taking up clients.” I guess a lot goes on over there that I never see from my house. I’m looking forward to lots of balloons this year!

  3. Looking forward to see more of them soon.
We had an important balloon meeting in the 1th of september not so far from Antwerp but I was not able to be there this year.
