Interesting post, Timothy. Enhancements or AI? I love playing around with plugins. The first one has a painterly look, the second a light leak and the third maybe a sky replacement?
I prossesed the images in Camera Raw. I’m done with AI for graphics until it becomes truly useful. I use AI to help write computer programs. It’s good at that. Thanks, Fab Four.
Amazing skies! The first one has a Monet water image vibe. Nice, vibrant, cheerful summer sunflower also. I’ve been trying, but unable to capture some of the interesting critters that hang out on the sunflowers.
I mostly use Camera Raw to process the photos. I run them through Photoshop to sign them and reduce the size of the files for the web. If you are looking for a great photo app and a great price, check out Affinity Photo. I use the Affinity suite at the office, and for a lot of processing at home, too. Serif, the parent company of Affinity apps is British. Thanks, Charlotte
The Affinity suite, Photo, Designer and Publisher are much better integrated than Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I would love to get the whole office switched over to Affinity Suite, but it’s hard to get people to change. The difference for the office is, all 20 staff members have the full Affinity Suite and the licenses are paid for not on a subscription. We only have a few Adobe licenses and the few we have cost us almost $700/month.
Shhhh, don’t tell the non photographers that every shot is a lie, they might catch on to all the things we an do to manipulate an image ..both in and out of camera. Like telling people that ultra races have a fair amount of walking in them.. ruins the mystique hehehehe.
I’m inclined not to try. We have a hill on the east side of the Sandias called Heartbreak Hill. I had my bike overhauled by a local bike shop before a race that included riding over Heartbreak Hill. I was struggling up HBH pushing down on the peddles hard while pulling hard on the handlebars, when the stem came out of the headset. Whoa. There I was handlebars in hand not attached to the bike about to go down. Fortunately, I was able to slip the stem back in the headset and walk the rest of the way up HBH. My stem set well enough to get me to the finish line, but that was an OMG moment. I was moving slowly up the hill so a crash wouldn’t have been too bad, but still, I hate crashing.
Lie… or artistic expression? Gorgeous, either way!
Expressive lying? Thanks, Dale.
Are all artists liars? 🙂
While artists don’t necessarily lie, their art can. You gotta keep them separated.
Of course, absolutely right.
Post-processing enhancements or not, they are still beautiful, especially the Sandias and clouds. That one is an attention grabber.
Thanks, Lavinia.
That’s the one that grabbed me. too, Lavinia.

In a very good cause.
Thanks, Shey.
These photographs are wonderful.
Thanks, Roberta.
Oh no they don’t lie at all! They are all beautiful paintings!
Those clouds look like a wave in the ocean! Outstanding!
Beautiful lies… hmmm…
Thanks, Nancy.
They are stunning! The first one especially looks like brush strokes. These are amazingly beautiful lies!
Sweet lies. Sweet pixely lies. Thanks, JYP.
A little jiggery-pockery involved? 😉
Simpple post prcessing. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim. 🙂
Life mimics art, or is it vice versa?
I think its one of those yinyang type things when it comes to art and life and life and art in mimicry. Thanks, Brad.
Beautiful!
Thanks, Dawn.

Thanks, Laurs.
What do you use in post production photoshop?

Thank you for the advice I’ll check it out. I sometimes ask my Dad to run them through his Photoshop.

Yes Adobe is very expensive here. I had access to it at work only which was great.

What? People walk during ultras? Not surprising. Just thinking about an ultra makes me feel lame. Thanks, Brian.
I’m not allowed to talk about it….but note, on some of the inclines on those courses require you to crawl.

Truth or lies, beautiful! xo
Thanks, Resa.
I’m with Lavinia …
Thanks, Julie.
