Slowly turning kaleidoscopes Dawn scrambled colors on grated clouds Purples hang under shades of blues Over orange laid on yellow Grass seeds framed a naked tree Dancing in the amber light Contrail splits the lavender sky
Observing each image whilst imagining kaleidoscope movements on each brings an exciting perception to each. Such a descriptive verse, Tim. Well written, sir.
Those are very beautiful images and words, and though I am partial to clouds, I especially love the grass seed heads framing the tree. Those images invoke a sense of peace, too.
The grass seeds are fascinating. I love the skies, too.
Thanks, Susan.
Beautiful ekphrastic poetry, Tim to go with these outstanding photos.

What a vision, Tim. I am now convinced that the painter is you! 😉
Not me. I could never paint so well. I just record the action. Thanks, Marina.
No, no, I know it was you!
Like Aerosmith “Dream On!”

I do, I always love seeing the photos every morning and the words–when you’ve a wee poem — are a bonus
The wee poems are kind of like the wee wees — they seem to be happening more often. Thanks, Shey.

BTW. I just put up another story song. This is a reworking of an older poem: https://soundcloud.com/user-334086053/sealed-in-a-kiss?si=fb768680687446f7b1f635283a5b71fb&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing
That’s fabulous. Did you ever post it here? I think I missed it. Love the guitar intro.
No. I just posted it on SoundCloud yesterday. It’s a brand new song. I won’t post it on my blog other than the link I posted in the comments.
Love your skies, and you chose the perfect words to accompany your photos! 😍
Thanks, Tiffany.
I breathed deeply and felt the gentleness of a lavender sky!

We had some rain last night. I can’t say how purple it was, but there was enough to get the cats wet. Thanks, Brian.
