Turn, Turn, Turn

We had a warm, sunny, slightly windy afternoon. The foliage along the Rio Grande is preparing for spring, creating beautiful layers of intense colors.

But Mama, that’s where the fun is!

  1. Great photos, Timothy. Rich color, that water looks to be about six inches deep… I’ve never walked our southern border like this.

    • Hi John. The river gets about knee-deep, maybe waist-deep in some of the holes at its current level. If I walked straight across the river I’d be on a sovereign nation’s land. The Rio Grande separates us from the Sandia Pueblo. Their wetback cattle wade across the river to forage in our bosque.

  2. Beautiful photos today, Tim. I’m ready for some springtime. Thanks for sharing these uplifting moments.

  3. Looks like you had an exceptional Leap Day. For us, it was a daylong affair with mountain wave cloud.
