I went out for a walk along the Rio Grande just before sundown. A Bald Eagle was flying home along the far bank of the river, almost out of reach of my 70-200 mm zoom lens at 200 mm. The Sandhill Cranes were flying in for the night looking like bombers in formation as they flew overhead. As I made my way back home through the bosque, a lone crow sat on top of a branch watching the last bit of pink before it faded into the gray dusk.
I believe term for this according young people these days is SICK!!! awesome shots..
Thank you very much, Miz Shaaz. I am well acquainted with how young people use “sick”. I’m honored that you find my photos to be SICK!
Wow those Eagles are awesome. Love every single one of these! Especially the sunsets so beautiful! 😀
Thanks, Michelle! I thought about you with the crow enjoying the last bit of pink on the mountains.
Oh yay! So amazing how the sky changes. I love to watch it till it’s dark! Very soothing I believe! I saw a beautiful one tonight! It’s nice to be thought of! I always think of you as just living right down the route! LOL Way way way west
great shot.
Thanks!
Too good 🙂
Thanks, Julie!
A glimpse of a world so different to the one I see each day.
Thanks, Julia!
Fantastic shots of these birds. Yes, they look like bombers.
Thanks!
Fantastic. Gosh, i miss that turquoise-blue sky… When i first moved there, friends “back east” would ask (of my photos) “Is the sky really that blue?!” They thought it was a flaw in the picture.
> Watch out for those cranes… they might drop their own birdie bomb. LOL. Take an umbrella. 😀
Thanks, Teagan! It’ been cold, but we still have our blue skies. 😉
Gorgeous bird images! Thanks for sharing them here.
Thanks, Susan!
