Same Old Stuff

Daddy Owl sits in the same old spot, basking in the yellow light of the low-hanging sun.
The Sandias turn the same old pink under clear blue skies.
The same old constant stream of crows flying from nowhere to somewhere at dusk.
Cranes land on the same old sandbar.
The same old flying V head into the sunset.
The same old sunset colors surround the trees.
The same old stars hanging in the east.
Same old stars hanging in the west.
Same old Jupiter peeking through the trees in the southern sky.

I took the same old walk. Got the same old photos. The same old stuff.

Aligned

Jupiter, Saturn and Venus are aligned with the moon close by, but not quite inline. While I was waiting for it to get dark enough for Saturn to show up clearly, I almost lost Venus in the trees.

Socked, Boxed, Deodorized

Sasha

Since I can’t bring myself to drive to Target and negotiate their horrible parking lot, I simply ordered what I needed online and had it delivered. It was so much easier and the cats got a new box.

Jupiter

Sandhill Cranes

Interesting sunset in a crystal clear sky. Venus is on the left.

Lunar Lineup

Jupiter, Crescent Moon, and Venus in a bent line. Saturn’s between Jupiter and the Moon, but it’s not bright enough to show up in the wide-angle photo.

Moon over the Rio Grande at dusk.

Moon over cranes in the Rio Grande at dusk.

Moon in the Tangle Heart Tree.

Jupiter with moons and stars.

Cranes: What’s the big deal? We could fly up to the moon if we wanted to!

Hunting The Hunter’s Moon

At dusk looking south with Venus overhead.

Jupiter only had two moons tonight. The bazooka is such a blast as it got a tiny Saturn with its rings.

The Hunter’s Moon making its way over the Sandias. Sandhill Cranes in the moonlight.

The Hunter’s Moon rising.

Moon tunnel. Moon glow through the trees.
