The rain gauge shows 4.69 inches of rain for the month as I type. There is one more day in September. Will we make it to five inches of rain for the month? The last time Corrales received more than 4.50 inches of rain in a month was July and September 2013. According to the NOAA records, the Corrales gauge recorded its all-time 24-hour precipitation record of 1.78 inches on July 26, 2013.
The owl and I were the only ones out in the rain this morning.

Mother Nature is making up for all that dryness earlier in the year. Looks like we lucked out for our event as it stayed dry for both nights…now we are in for a good amount these next two days…fortunately got the trail torn down earlier tonight. Doppel has the coolest face coloring.
