Someone left the Jake out in the rain again

When Jake and I got home from our walk in the rain last night, the rain gauge showed 1.75 inches for the month. When I left for my walk at 5:25 this morning, the rain gauge showed 1.84 inches. When I got home at 7:00 it showed 2.0 inches. The rain gauge currently shows 2.71 inches of rain for September. It’s been several years since we received that much rain in one month. It’s supposed to rain Thursday and Friday, also. It seems Super El Niño may have finally arrived.
