It’s raining tonight, so I didn’t get out for sunset photos. We have received 3.20 inches of rain in September as I write, and we still have a steady rain. We have not received this much rain in a month in years.

Yes, so much rain that we had 3 landslides on my street in August that will require engineers and concrete pours. etc.

Everything these days seems to be excessive – to much rain, to much sun, to much snow. Global warming is barrels of fun.
We started coming out of a dry season into 15 years of wet with similar rains back in 1978.
It’s good to know it’s a natural cycle. So much gets blamed on climate change it’s difficult to access the state of affairs.
Climate change is to blame, but climate change is part of the natural process. When climate stops changing, the Earth will be dead. Human activity certainly has its effect, especially on microclimates.
Yes, you have said it well. It’s natural but humans have accelerated the process and upset the balances.
