Jake was so so, the kitties missed me, especially Spunk and Loki, and Belefonte really missed me. He’s been really clingy since I’ve been back. Thanks, Brian.
BTW when I first saw that Comorant, it was stretching itself up towards the sky. I was like, “What’s that tall, skinny bird?” I bushwacked along the bank of the river to get a closer look, and it turned out to be a stinking Comorant. Forty minutes later, I walked back to the same spot, and it was in the same place, but looking clearly like a Comorant.
I hate investing time on a bird that turns out to be a waste of the effort…I’ll think I see an Anhinga, chase it and then realize it is a Cormorant sigh!!!
I loved your whole set of photos, Tim. The post storm skies are beautiful! Maybe old Beaker left you a gift of of a good amount of rain followed by beauty to enjoy while he drinks your coffee. Always a pleasure to see the cats, Jake, and I love the one with Laurie and the horse.
Did Jake, the kitties and the bird miss you during your big vacation abroad?

Stupid Comorants!
A very nice walk indeed.
Thanks, Shey.
Great clouds and beautiful photos…….
Pam
Thanks, Pam
What a dreamy group of photos, Tim. So lovely.
Thanks, Dale.

Thanks, Lavinia. Could be. I believe he appreciated all the accommodations we made for him.
I don’t remember if Soren is still with you or not. I think he is still living?
Oh yes! Søren is still as opinionated and foul-beaked as ever. He’s constantly butting in, telling us off, and cussing at the cats.
Does he miss Beaker at all?
I don’t think so. Beaker was a bit of a pest. He used to tell Beaker to shut up.
Poor Beaker!
Just beautiful.
Thanks, Gigi.
😊
Beautiful pictures!! And what a lovely morning walk! ❤️🐈⬛🐈🐕🐎
Thanks, Samantha!
Gorgeous horse photo, Jake, gatos and Jake and sunset, Tim!
💗
Thanks, Cindy. The horse was a sweetheart.
You’re so welcome! What fun find!!! ❤️
Great pictures! Especially of the cats and Jake! The cormorant appeared to be reflecting on the day 🤔☺️
Thanks, Becky. I’m not sure comorants refect on much of anything. They are neotropical, but still prehistoric.
If there is one thing a well-loved dog knows how to do, it’s chill!
That’s true. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Great shot of Spunkie-Poo 💋 and Silver. All fab shots.
So, have the animals forgiven and forgotten your absence?
Belafonte is still super clingy. The kitties and Jake are happy I’m home back to the old routine. Thanks, Resa.
Gee, I’ll bet Belafonte misses Beaker.
Nope. Belafonte was always trying to take Beaker out. We had to keep them separated. And Søren would tell Beaker to shut up.
Gee… bird battles. I love all your nature.
You would think birds would get along, but they get along better with the cats than with each other.
Hahahaha!
Wonderful pics Tim …
Thanks, Julie.
