    • Jake was so so, the kitties missed me, especially Spunk and Loki, and Belefonte really missed me. He’s been really clingy since I’ve been back. Thanks, Brian.

BTW when I first saw that Comorant, it was stretching itself up towards the sky. I was like, “What’s that tall, skinny bird?” I bushwacked along the bank of the river to get a closer look, and it turned out to be a stinking Comorant. Forty minutes later, I walked back to the same spot, and it was in the same place, but looking clearly like a Comorant.

  1. I hate investing time on a bird that turns out to be a waste of the effort…I’ll think I see an Anhinga, chase it and then realize it is a Cormorant sigh!!!

  2. I loved your whole set of photos, Tim. The post storm skies are beautiful! Maybe old Beaker left you a gift of of a good amount of rain followed by beauty to enjoy while he drinks your coffee. Always a pleasure to see the cats, Jake, and I love the one with Laurie and the horse.

  3. Great pictures! Especially of the cats and Jake! The cormorant appeared to be reflecting on the day 🤔☺️

    • Thanks, Becky. I’m not sure comorants refect on much of anything. They are neotropical, but still prehistoric.

  4. Great shot of Spunkie-Poo 💋 and Silver. All fab shots.

So, have the animals forgiven and forgotten your absence?
