Did Jake, the kitties and the bird miss you during your big vacation abroad?
Jake was so so, the kitties missed me, especially Spunk and Loki, and Belefonte really missed me. He’s been really clingy since I’ve been back. Thanks, Brian.
BTW when I first saw that Comorant, it was stretching itself up towards the sky. I was like, “What’s that tall, skinny bird?” I bushwacked along the bank of the river to get a closer look, and it turned out to be a stinking Comorant. Forty minutes later, I walked back to the same spot, and it was in the same place, but looking clearly like a Comorant.
I hate investing time on a bird that turns out to be a waste of the effort…I’ll think I see an Anhinga, chase it and then realize it is a Cormorant sigh!!!
