It’s going down to -23C tonight and -32C (-26.5F) tomorrow night. The warmest we can get our place in the daytime (-15C outside)) is 69F. Tonight it will be about 65F in the house. Tomorrow night about 62F. I have a space heater and electric blanket for the bedroom.
It was -47C in Winnipeg today, in the daytime. That’s where I grew up.
Most of the kitties sleep on us or between us, but Loki, Marble, and Gwendolyn will get under the covers. It’s funny, because Gwendolyn will not let us prick her up, and she will not sit on our laps, but she will snuggle under the covers with me when it’s cold. She claws at the covers on my right side. I pick up the covers, she gets under them, snuggles up with her head on my right shoulder, and purrs. It’s really sweet of her.
