Ken Kesey is an icon in my hometown ~ in his novel The One Who Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, where McMurphy (Jack Nicholson) was incarcerated at the State Mental Hospital in my hometown of Pendleton 😇! About 30+ years ago, Kesey gave a talk and book signing one evening at the local community college, and he was awesome. The book (Demon Box… not so awesome 🙃), but he has written some gems. One of my favorite all-time movies, and the director, Miloš Forman, is Czech and has directed some amazing movies (Amadeus being my other favorite of his). Sigh… what a great feeling reliving those memories 😂! Cheers to a great weekend!
