Jake Gate

My Saturday morning project was to install a post and fencing for a Jake Gate to keep Jake from wandering down the road when we want to leave him outside roaming around the property.

  1. It’s important to keep Jake safe. You’re a good grandpa (Jake is your daughter’s dog, right?)

Love the reflection shot and that last one!

    • If I have Jake outside with me, but I’m doing work and not giving him my full attention, he’ll wander the road looking for someone to give him attention. If we walk by a person on the street who doesn’t stop to give Jake attention, he keeps looking back, hoping the person will turn around, come back, and give him attention. Oriana called him an attention Ho. She’s right. Thanks, Dale.

  2. You are a very busy person and make the most out of your days. Those are beautiful autumnal photos, Tim. I like the redbud turned gold composition. Always love seeing Jake and the cats, too. You still have Beaker and Soren too?

  3. I love the last two photos! My brother had a yellow lab named Jake, and he had to install Jake gates in the house to prevent him from eating things which he shouldn’t, such as an entire roll of paper towels (There must have been some in-breeding in Jake’s genetic makeup, poor fella.)

  4. LOL, I’m glad to know that “everything’s Jake” now with Jake. Really though, it’s good that you found a way to keep him from getting out of bounds. It was lovely to see Glenda, and that puddle reflection picture is fabulous — I love it. Hugs.

  5. Lucky Jake!

Does he get to go in the catio? I’m thinking not!

Spunkie-Poo’s 💋 tail sure is getting around these days.

Thanks for the fab pics, Tim! xx

    • He’s not a jumper. He can about step over the gate at my office door but doesn’t. Thanks, Brian.
