Where’s Nora?

Almost Worm Moon setting at dawn. The full moon is tonight, but it’s blocked by clouds at the moment.

Can you find Nora Owl?

Is that a stupid paparazzo standing on the ditch bank pointing a bazooka at us?

Psst! Don’t look now, but there’s a stupid paparazzo shooting us with a bazooka!

Kiss me, you fool!

Umph! Mo motos mit ma moth mull!

We had intermittent storms with icy winds this afternoon. The wind was biting when I walked down to check on Nora.

  1. wow, stunning moon, Tim. It took a long while to find Nora owl. It amazes me how the camouflage so well. Silly lamas .. sooo laughing at your commentary😹❣️

  2. Man, it was difficult to see the owl!!
I wanna see alpacas!! A few years back, I saw a tv clip of a local place that you walk them, but it was already out of business.

  3. Excellent commentating on here, Tim. Matches each one perfectly. I spotted Nora, even seeing two of her, double vision is back today. Cheers!

  4. Nora blends right in. I can make out part of her eye and top of her head in the second photo.

That is a beautiful series, dawn to dusk, and the alpacas are cute! It was a mixed weather day up here, high probably around 50. Some rain during the night, more coming later today.

  5. Yes, I found Nora in a heartbeat. I recognized her ears. lol

Are those llamas? They are gorgeous.

My tree is dwarfed by the big sky. Love it!

Hey, will you be getting any of the eclipse where you are? xx

  6. Nora is as well hidden as some of the Eastern Screech Owls we found down in the RGV. I am no longer fooled by the Alpacas. The pull you in close with their cute little faces and fluffy fur and then spit in your face and laugh while taunting you a second time. ”Here, stick some hay in your mouth and open you eyes wide open, that will bring the paparazzo in close so we can launch lugies at it.

  7. So much beauty here Tim. That must be a baby owl. I could see part of the owl but it looked small to me without mom and dad. The alpacas are so beautiful, I did not know you had any, I wonder if those are new, their dialog is pretty funny too. The photos are always so amazing but that sunset reminds me of a very old painting that you would see with an Angel coming down in the sky – or the sky about to open up! It is truly stunning Tim. Thanks for sharing.
