It’s a section from a old telephone pole I was using to prop up a large cane on a rose bush. The cane died, and I cut it off, but I haven’t moved the telephone pole stump. Thanks, Lavinia.
I just scraped 1/2 inch of snow from the north side of the office. I don’t consider it shoveling. Thanks, Dale. I have never owned a show shovel for home use. Thanks, Dale.
Of course. But it made it funnier that you mentioned snow shovel as a joke, but I had actually gotten out the snow shovel that came with the building and scraped some snow.
That’s such a cool shot of the tree stump. The sky-scapes are beautiful too, but I’m captivated by the composition that stump made. No snow here. We were supposed to get 5 minutes of rain the other day, but that didn’t show up either. Hugs.
We are supposed to be getting our first snow but I’m suspicious we will get ice and wintry mix. I doubt it will be as photogenic as your stump. I liked that color contrast.
We got snow too, Tim.
Sigh… tomorrow could be my only chance to go for a half decent walk for over a week. It will be 3, so I could do an hour, if the cement didn’t ice.
Your skies look grey like ours.
Sorry for bringing the snow to New Mexico. We cruised through there on our way to Arizona and just missed your snowfall, but got hit with it in Tucson…actually got out one day before it hit Benson and knocked the power out of a huge swath of that area. Might as well stayed in IL ha.
Beautiful images, Tim. I love stormlight. The tree section is very, very nice composition. Where did you find that?

How much snow? It looks like less than a dusting.
We ended up with 1’2 inch. Thanks, Danzig.
That bark[?] lit up with sprinkles of snow is fantastic!
Beautiful brooding skies.
Happy weekend ahead!
or I should say: lit up bark with sprinkles of snow!
It’s the end of a stump, sparkling with snow. Thanks, Marina.
It’s beautiful!
I am glad at least you see snow! It is hard to come by especially this year or the past year where I live.
It is nice to get the moisture since we’ve are in a super drought. Thanks, YC.
Can your shovel handle so much snow? You’ve got just about as much as we do!
Lovely D & D shots, too.

You know I am teasing you, of course! I can’t imagine you ever needing a shovel (for the snow) in your neck of the woods!
Of course. But it made it funnier that you mentioned snow shovel as a joke, but I had actually gotten out the snow shovel that came with the building and scraped some snow.
Glad you thought so 😉
I love the color gradations in the first dawn image.
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Lovely pics, Timothy. Thank you for sharing.
You are welcome, Shey.
The skies remind me of a CGI sky from a Sci-fi movie.
Cloud Gods Incognito? I would say the painter likes sci-fi. Thanks, Brad.
wow the tree is quite unique Tim❣️
Thanks, Cindy.
You’re so welcome Tim❣️
Will never tire of those beautiful black lace trees. 🖤

We got 1/2 of snow. Better than nothing. Thanks, Teagan.

We get so many false forecasts for rain and snow. It’s nice when they get it right. Thanks, Angela.
Beautiful photos!!!😎
Thanks, Samantha.
Snow and Black lace trees, nice!
Thanks, Geoff.
Such moody skies Tim … I agree with Lavinia the tree section is a nice composition
Thanks, Julie.
Beautiful Scene
Thanks, alayparmar.

Thanks, Hal.
We got snow too, Tim.

We had super gray skies all day today. Cold, but no snow. Thanks, Resa.
It is nice can you shovel handle much?
Never have enough to really shovel. Thanks, CTSH.

We appreciate you dragging some moisture along with you. The power grids in the SW are not very resistant to snow. Thanks, Brian.
