    • It’s a section from a old telephone pole I was using to prop up a large cane on a rose bush. The cane died, and I cut it off, but I haven’t moved the telephone pole stump. Thanks, Lavinia.

    • I just scraped 1/2 inch of snow from the north side of the office. I don’t consider it shoveling. Thanks, Dale. I have never owned a show shovel for home use. Thanks, Dale.

  1. That’s such a cool shot of the tree stump. The sky-scapes are beautiful too, but I’m captivated by the composition that stump made. No snow here. We were supposed to get 5 minutes of rain the other day, but that didn’t show up either. Hugs.

  2. We are supposed to be getting our first snow but I’m suspicious we will get ice and wintry mix. I doubt it will be as photogenic as your stump. I liked that color contrast.

    • We get so many false forecasts for rain and snow. It’s nice when they get it right. Thanks, Angela.

  3. We got snow too, Tim.
Sigh… tomorrow could be my only chance to go for a half decent walk for over a week. It will be 3, so I could do an hour, if the cement didn’t ice.
Your skies look grey like ours.

  4. Sorry for bringing the snow to New Mexico. We cruised through there on our way to Arizona and just missed your snowfall, but got hit with it in Tucson…actually got out one day before it hit Benson and knocked the power out of a huge swath of that area. Might as well stayed in IL ha.

    • We appreciate you dragging some moisture along with you. The power grids in the SW are not very resistant to snow. Thanks, Brian.
