  1. Beautiful dawn. Roadrunner is a small little fella, isn’t he? Looney Tunes led us to believe they were much taller 😉

    • They are small compared to the Looney Tunes RR. But don’t let their small size fool you, they’ll still take you down and whack you on the ground a few times. Thanks, Dale.

            • The Deinonychus skeletons they found in Wyoming and Montana are big like the “velociraptors” in Jurassic Park. Skeletons of velociraptors that are not much bigger than roadrunners were found in Mongolia. Back in the dino days, Mongolia and North America were probably one, so roadrunners could be contemporary veleciraptors.

              • So cool. And yes, I do believe that is true – that the two parts of the world were once connected. Plus, I would not be surprised at all at various sizes of these beasties.

  2. A lovely dawn, Tim. Yesterday, I woke up early and went for a walk. As I strolled along, I witnessed the breathtaking beauty of the sunrise. It was a perfect Zen moment, where I felt a deep sense of tranquility and peace.

  3. My totem creature! For obvious reasons the Roadrunner has always held special meaning for me (and inked on me). I wish there was a Greater Trailrunner bird to represent my new running preference ha.

    • If you go running in AZ, you might get a coyote trailing you. Look out for Acme packages with you name on them. Thanks, Brian.
