Thanks, Dale. Acronymphomania can be fun. A staff member walked into my office and showed me a message from a client with acronyms I did not know. I asked what it all meant. And he said “Oh! Yeah, you are well versed in the government acronyms.” No I’m not. But even so, I forget what they all mean anyway, and they all just become words after while.
Just saying that word is fun! It’s ridiculous how each company has their own version of acronyms. They use them here and I’m constantly asking what they mean! They assume I know (I’m new to the tourist biz!)
Do other people you work with know what the acronyms mean? Acronyms get thrown around in IT by people trying to act like they know what they are talking about when they don’t. I’ll asked what the acronyms mean, even when I know, to see the reaction of the BSers. At first they look at me like I am stupid, but I persist and they start flailing about making fools of themselves. Then I tell them what the acronyms mean if I know. Presumptuous people bug.
Hahahaha! So far all the ones I’ve asked about they know. But other jobs it was funny to watch people look at me wide-eyed…

That’s the same nickname a friend of mine gave my large glass. He prefers landscapes and close-up photography. My newer 200-500mm is physically larger than my original 200-500mm from way back. It also has much better glass than the original so an improvement all around. I’ve noticed that spectators get out of the way when the big glass starts swinging around between subjects.
She was a bit bothered. It’s more of getting up enough enthusiasm to pull out the Bazooka and go out looking for critters. Just not happening these days. Thanks, JYP.
