I like beer. But I don’t like consuming insects.
Unlike John the Baptist who most certainly drank beer (no mention of what he drank in the New Testiment) and he ate locusts* and wild honey?
*He most likely ate the vegetable locust like carab, but since “locusts” is translated as plural in the NT he might have eaten the insects or both carob and the insects. Like locust-covered locusts.
Those vine-ripened tahmaytoes look so good! I’m eagerly anticipating our green ones turning to red.
We have a few toemaytoes of our own that have ripened already.

We saw a swarm of dragonflies over a corn field on our country road walk tonight. It was amazing to stand and watch. Nice that you caught them in front of a pretty sunset!

I saw a video of a Japanese tomato artist who sells his gourmet tomatoes for $5K each. I’m not sure how they could taste so good to fetch such prices. Maybe he spikes them with LSD or something so you hallucinate that the tomato you consumed was worth $5K. Thanks, Brad.

Did grow timmaetoes this year?
Yes! I am now a harvest slave. Tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, freezing the sauces, dried tomatoes, washing tomatoes, chopping tomatoes. Oh well, it pays off in winter!

We are Toes thanks to our parents, but we also grew up with “warsh” which caused me a LOT of issues in college, so I had to quickly purge that from my vocabulary. I would drive my parents nuts trying to also correct that, but then I was the one being laughed at again..oh well, when in Rome ha.
I picked up “warsh” from a friend who grew up in NY. I still say it and Laurie and Tristan give me a hard time about it. Thanks, Brian.
