Unlike John the Baptist who most certainly drank beer (no mention of what he drank in the New Testiment) and he ate locusts* and wild honey?
*He most likely ate the vegetable locust like carab, but since “locusts” is translated as plural in the NT he might have eaten the insects or both carob and the insects. Like locust-covered locusts.
We saw a swarm of dragonflies over a corn field on our country road walk tonight. It was amazing to stand and watch. Nice that you caught them in front of a pretty sunset!
I saw a video of a Japanese tomato artist who sells his gourmet tomatoes for $5K each. I’m not sure how they could taste so good to fetch such prices. Maybe he spikes them with LSD or something so you hallucinate that the tomato you consumed was worth $5K. Thanks, Brad.
Yes! I am now a harvest slave. Tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, freezing the sauces, dried tomatoes, washing tomatoes, chopping tomatoes. Oh well, it pays off in winter!
We are Toes thanks to our parents, but we also grew up with “warsh” which caused me a LOT of issues in college, so I had to quickly purge that from my vocabulary. I would drive my parents nuts trying to also correct that, but then I was the one being laughed at again..oh well, when in Rome ha.
That’s a dragonfly in the third photo? At first glance, it could pass for a bird or a plane even
Or even Superman doing the breaststroke in mid air? The two dragonflies make Dos XX, and could be used to make green beer. Thanks, JYP.
It could, but I don’t really want to drink dragonfly beer.
¡No pasa nada! for me. I don’t like beer.
I like beer. But I don’t like consuming insects.

Those vine-ripened tahmaytoes look so good! I’m eagerly anticipating our green ones turning to red.
We have a few toemaytoes of our own that have ripened already.
The skies do indeed hold mysteries, as do dragonflies. Beautiful photos, especially the last one.
Thanks, Lavinia.
Gorgeous photos esp the tomatoes!!
Thanks, Holly. They are tasty tomatoes.
That look yummy

That’s great you got to see them swarming. They are amazing. Thanks, Rebecca.
I’ll take swarming dragons over mozzies any day 🙂
Absolutely. Thanks, LPH.
Them termaytahs look beauteous. I’ve never seen a swarm of dragonflies! Great captures. Love the camouflage one!
Thanks, Dale. There will be hundreds of dragonfiles flying about very fast. Difficult to catch on still photos.
I can’t even imagine.
You’ll have to film them rather than photograph 😉
I did film a few of them. I don’t like processing video.
Ahhh… gotcha!
We, your Readers, are so demanding, eh? 😉
Whatever way you say it…..those tomatoes look fantastic:)
Thanks, Janet. They are tasty.
Ooh some of the hungry beasts in the clouds will eat either I am sure. Great pics.
Insatiable cloud beasts they are. But I’m getting to the “timaters” first. Thanks, Shey.
I expected to less.
Tomato, or Tomahto, all tastes the same to me.

Takes all kinds.
And all kinds seem to be out there.
It’s their time of year… nice and tasty!
Those dragonflies look like drones! Please don’t tell them I said so though!
It thought they looked like drones too.
You know it’s Monday when auto-correct calls you “it.” I said, “I thought they looked like drones too.”
I read is as I. Resa calls in auto-mistake.
Thanks, Danzig. They are drone-like dragons.
Glad I’m not the only one!
Little dragon dronses I don’t think they mind the name. Thanks, Marina.
Good to hear! 🙏
The tomatoes on the vine, we see them everywhere …
Vines are in style. Thanks, Danzig.
Those are great dragonfly shots!
Thanks, JMA.
Tahmaytoes for Me and yours are looking perfect for a sandwich!
Thanks, Nancy.
Hard to capture, but you got some. They look like some kind of airplane.
Toemahtoe or Tahmaytoe…… mmmm…. doesn’t mahttoe or mayttoe to me! xx
Or a timmaetoe. La familia calls me timmae. Thanks, Resa.
I like timmaetoe! Perfect! x
Did grow timmaetoes this year?
Yes! I am now a harvest slave. Tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, freezing the sauces, dried tomatoes, washing tomatoes, chopping tomatoes. Oh well, it pays off in winter!
Slaving away.
Ah…that would be a timmatoe slave!
We’ll be slaving away with green chiles pretty soon.
Smokin’
I could taste those tomatoes just looking at them, mate.
You would love them. Thanks, Inchie.
My favorite fruit, tomatoes! Cheers.

I picked up “warsh” from a friend who grew up in NY. I still say it and Laurie and Tristan give me a hard time about it. Thanks, Brian.
…as long as you don’t pick up the Chicago “Sodie Pop” you’ll be okay.
Wonderful clouds and colours … and dragonflies
Thanks, Julie.
