Wonderfully whimsical cloud captures, Tim. The star-filled night shot is awesome. I have to admit my first thought reading the title was of “the spice” ala Frank Herbert’s epic.
Sandworms in the sky…reminds me of the Ghost Riders song. 🙂 Beautiful cloud street catch, Tim! I love the night sky, too. It was clear here again last night, with a good view of the sky. A chilly 22 degrees and frosty this morning. Monday and Tuesday we may get snow again.
I hope you don’t get weary of my saying this, but your stunning photos of that spectacular sky are just too beyond words.
Thanks, Mary Jo.
Really like the inverted “dunes”.
Thanks, Brad.

Holy cow, that first shot stopped me in my tracks!

Really?!!!!! Only over at your paradise these images appear and I’m ever grateful you capture and ‘translate’ them! 🙏
I guess dune clouds happen. Thanks, Marina.

We all need to smile now and then with current state of affairs crushing us. Thanks, Shey.
We do indeed . World has gone batshit…
There is lots of guano fertilizing bad policies and craziness.
All masquerading as right.
I’ve never seen clouds like those in your first photo!
I’m not sure I have either. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Amazing photos! The drama and beauty in the clouds/sky…magical.
Thanks, Suzette.
You get the most incredible skies!!!

Beautiful sky-scapes, Tim. Ha. Those really do look like dunes. I wouldn’t have thought of it. Hugs.

That is some unusual clouds there
Definitely inverted dunes, and great Haiku! x
Will be a few days before we see the blue sky in snow bomb country. Odd cloud foundation you got there – almost like a clam.
Those clouds are amazing!
Thanks, Julie. How was your Christmas?
Hey Tim … we had a great Christmas with our neighbours thanks, what about you?
