We’ve been keeping the house on the colder side the last few years. We wear layers, and heat the space we are occupying instead of heating the whole house. We have blankets and cats to keep us warm in bed. Thanks, Liz.
It’s a nice weather station. We’ve been enjoying it. It’s funny that our bedroom is often 66.6ΒΊF I had to do somewith the it being 33.3 at the same time this afternoon. Thanks, Maj & Sher.
Thanks, Michele. It’s a decent system. We rely on it because we are usually 10 to 15 degrees colder than the predicted lows. For example, the weather app says the low in Corrales will be 23 tonight. It’s already down to 20, and by morning it’ll will most likely be around 11 or 12 degrees.
Brrrrrrr
How can it be on such a fiery night
That it’s so cold inside
Brrrrrr, spare me the outside
From here the crimson night looks like it is embarking on an epic voyage
Follow the fiery light
WOW!!! That sky is so powerful, Tim! Fire in the sky and cold on the ground. I’ve got you beat on the cold, however. Absolute perfection with that skyscape! xo
Fire in he sky… love it!
I’m keeping it a bit cool in the apt. this winter.
Mind you there is no thermostat up here. We go by downstairs. They won’t raise it unless I say so.
So, 67 up here when there is no sun. Then when it’s sunny, it’s gone as high as 72.
It will go down to 65/66 in mid winter/no sun/lots of wind.
We usually have sun. The kitchen/dancroom warm up in the day because of the south facing bay windows. The bedroom at the north end of the house stays much cooler. There can easily be 10 degrees difference from one end of the house to the other. Thanks, Resa.
I love the firey sky, but 66 in the house is a bit nippy.

You’re welcome, Tim.
Fantastic photo! And yes, stay warm. π
Thanks, Mary Jo.
That is a fiery sky, but looks can definitely be deceiving. Going down to 24 tonight, and I think it is fair to say winter has finally arrived here.
It’s already down to 20 here. It will be in the low teens by morning. Thanks, Bruce.
Yep, scary looking sky. Very nice weather station/environment reporting panel Tim.

Quite ominous! That is an impressive weather monitoring system.

Makes sense that you would need more data, given all you have going on.
That looks like a fiery face in the fiery sky. Nice catch!
I like the weather station. We have one a friend gave us one last year at Christmas.
Great Christmas present. Thanks, Lavinia.
Fascinating sky!
Thanks, Cindy.
