Western Bluebird taking off with a bug

Male and female Western Bluebirds. They seem to be a pair of lovebirds.

Matt & Leslie’s new Husky Cross they rescued. Her name is Sasha. She looks a little like our wolf, Mosby.

“Whatcha looking at?”

“Talk to the tail feathers, Paparazzo!”

While the crowd and owlets were waiting for Mama Owl to bring dinner, she was perched on a tree looking for something to catch for dinner.

The Blue lovebirds are too sweet! Of course the Owls and owlets are adorable. The moon shot gorgeous!
Thanks, Holly. The owlets were putting on a show.
They do love the camera. So adorable!
Sasha is beautiful, and so are those owlets. Amazing pics, Tim.
Thanks, Jeff.
Liking the healthy dose of different birds coming at us lately and of course, I always appreciate an owlet update.
Thanks, Brian.
Sasha look like a lovely dog, now she will have a happy life.
The owlets are doing pre-flight excercises 🙂
Thanks, Rudi.
Oh… Sasha does look like Mosby!! She’s gorgeous!
All your feathered friends pose wonderfully… even with their dinner hanging!
Thanks, Marina. Sasha came from a bad environment. Matt and Leslie will provide a really good for her.
She’s a fortunate pup!
All the photos are great, you said something that the dogs looked like your wolf….. you really have a wolf? That´s kind of scary.
Hi Carlos. Our wolf is adopted virtually to support a wolf sanctuary. We have cats. You can see Mosby at https://wp.me/p1yQyy-7mL. Thanks.
sempre belle le tue foto!
Grazie Simona.
That first owl photo is just priceless!
They are little characters. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Pretty bluebirds, good looking canine and owlet mooning you. Wonderful hodge podge of views, Tim. Speaking of moons, we are really enjoying the sequence of moon shots. Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome Maj & Sher. You know there will be a lunar eclipse on the 15th? Thanks.
No, did not. Thanks, and hope we have clear skies!
I enjoyed your assortment of photos, Tim. Those owl chicks are growing fast! It’s been raining up here and I am glad to see the moon on your site.
Thanks, Lavinia. No rain here.
Beautiful bluebirds: what a colour! And, of course, I love the owls-theatre.
Thanks, Heidi. The owls are a theater.
Beautiful !
Thanks, Inge.

Thanks, Sylvia.
Gorgeous dog. Love the owls. Great post.
Thanks, Gigi.
so much love with the pretty blue birds and a new beautiful husky to love.
The little owletts looking at each other is priceless Tim.
I’m feeling a little sad they will fly the coop soon. 💖💖
They will be flying by the end of the month. Thanks, Cindy.
oh it’s so thrilling at the same time. can’t wait for those pics … welcome! 💖
Your extended family and passing acquaintances are growing and gorgeous, Tim!
They are growing up fast. Thanks, Inchcock.
I thought that yesterday, Tim. Do they fly the nest when bigger?
They’ll be flying by the end of the month.
Thanks, mate. I see the crows man and Dads chasing them of away from the nest, they are about due again this year. Cheers.
Love the bluebirds. Sasha does look like a beautiful wolf. The wowlets are amazing. All ’round fabulous post as we have come to expect 😉
Thanks, Dale. I appreciate it.
🙂
Awesome.. in every way..
Thanks, Sue.
I have never seen a bluebird in real life. I’ve never seen a chipmunk, either.
Or owls…
Sasha is a beauty!!!
Sweet post!
You have lived a sheltered life from the wilds. But you know what they are and what they look like. Holly mentioned a woman from NYC who didn’t know what a cow looked like. Thanks, Resa.
Yeah…
We have white albino squirrels in a park near me. Although, I’ve never seen one of those either, I’ve seen photos & art inspired by them.
The white squirrels seem like they would be ghostly. Maybe they are more active in the snow. Our squirrels are brown and blend into our dusty surroundings very well. It would be fun to see a white squirrel.
So good to see all your pics Timothy. Got back today, so catching up.
Thanks, Shey. Welcome back to the world of wowls, critters, kitties, and dog. How was you trip?
Abso brill Timothy. We discovered the more ‘native’ Prague if you get me, courtesy of a Scots’ couple who live there now We helped them get flung out of two bars on our last night there! Hoping to go back another time. it is also a cheap capital city in terms of prices. AND so beautiful. We were also better cited this time in terms of being near everything.
How much fun is that? Thrown out of two bars. You were partying. Thanks, Shey.
Yeah… No bad eh!!! Nicked some glasses as well!
Sasha is just lovely .. and those owlets and Mama are always gorgeous
The are all lovely. Thanks, Julie.
