…wonderful and also a tad awkward body to fly…but I don’t know…cool to see Timothy 🤓 happy weekending hedy 🕊 Reply
Vultures are pretty ugly when they are perched, awkward on the take off, but they are beautiful in flight. Thanks, Hedy. Reply
Oh wow Timothy. That’s an amazing photo of the Wingspan of the Vulture. They have a bad rep but serve a purpose and as you said they are so beautiful inflight. NG calling on this one. Reply
Impressive bird, we don’t have them here but I saw a lot of vultures in the Alps (Austria) on my vacations. Reply
I’ve always found vultures fascinating. They have purpose, and are not the prettiest. For some reason, Jimmy Durante comes to mind. Reply
It’s amazing how such, I won’t say ugly, let’s call them homely faces can look so spectacular in flight. Their wingspan is amazing. Beautiful shots. Reply
They look awfully physical to me ha! Do you have the Black variety down there, or just the Turkey’s Reply

What an awesome wingspan. Awesome pics, Tim.
Thanks, Jeff. They have beautiful wingspans.
Indeed, they do. Welcome, Tim.
I’ve watched them playing in the thermals up here. They are beautiful creatures.
They love riding the thermals. Thanks, Lavinia.
They have an elegance in their postures. Vultures are “our friends”. Remember this?
It’s been years since I saw the Jungle Book. Cute video. Thanks, Rebecca.
Oh, I love this one, Rebecca!
I love the video, Rebecca!
That 3rd picture is amazing💖💖

Ah, Tim, their hidden beauty exposed!
Yes it is. Thanks, Marina.

Thanks, Rudi.
Wonderful turkey vulture series, Timothy. They are very cool birds.
Thanks, Jet. We have a lot of them passing through this time of year.
Awesome!!!
Thanks, Tiffany.

For some reason, Jimmy Durante comes to mind.
That is a good comparison. Vultures are beautiful in flight. Thanks, Resa.

Homely is a good word for them. Thanks, Dale.
I think so. But then, wings spread out, they can be (momentarily) mistaken for eagles. 😉
They are beautiful in flight. Easily mistaken for raptors.
I know I have! And they are.
Sometimes only the silver under their wings gives them away.
I’ll have to play closer attention next time!
They look awfully physical to me ha! Do you have the Black variety down there, or just the Turkey’s
