Fuzzette

Under crystal clear, blue skies I made a very interesting discovery.

Fuzzette, Fuzzy, and Nora Owl

Fuzzy has a big sister, Fuzzette, who Nora Owl finally allowed to come out into the world so we can admire her beauty and cuteness.

And you thought Unicorns were equestrians!

Fuzzette is rather intense.

Tulip tortured by the heat and sun.

Fuzzy wide-eyed and presumably bushy tailed.

Fuzzette has expressive eyes.

A sunny bunny.

¡Adios muchachos, muchachas!

  1. Fuzzy and Fuzzette are lovely! The all owl family is lovely. I’m so happy to see them, they’re so cute. Their parents can be proud, they have beautiful babies! And your photos… wow!

    • Thanks, Cindy. There had been no sign of a second owlet and then boom, Fuzzette presents herself.

  2. I am so glad that you introduced Fuzzette, who is definitely cute and beautiful. I LOVED Bucky Bullfrog – he looks like Rodin’s Thinker. Marina must be very very pleased about her Incognito Pear Tree. Life on your side of the world always has wonderful surprises in store for us.

    • Marina’s pear tree is backed up by your beautiful black bamboo, which is a paler shade of green. Bullfrogs are not very expressive and tend to have that Thinker look on their faces. Laurie was commenting that bullfrogs always have the same expression. I was so pleasantly surprised by Fuzzette. She is adorable.

      • Your black bamboo is a large stand with a labyrinth cut in it. You can’t get much cooler than that. Both literally and figuratively. It is about 10 to 15 degrees cooler in the middle of your bamboo stand in the heat of summer.

  3. Aww… what a lovely surprise and Fuzzette sure looks beautiful! Maybe the reason why her parents kept her hidden! So wonderful to be greeted by such great neighbors! Of course my pear tree is pear shaped! What else?!!! 🤣😂 Great shots, my friend!

  4. How do you know if it’s a boy or girl Fuzz?
They are so adorable, it’s hard to believe they will become mighty hunters.
It’s crazy how camouflaged they are. Great shots Tim!

    • I have no idea what the real gender of the owlets are. I assume the bigger ones are female. Look at the size of her feet and talons and it’s easy to imagine Fuzzette will be a mighty hunter. They look like the are made for the cottonwoods. Thanks, Resa.

  5. Wow Tim….these pics are gorgeous…..
It’s always nice to see your clicks….
Just when I think it cant get better…..you come back with great stuff….
I love these clicks….I don’t think it’s safe to say best work according to my untrained eyes…..cos I know you’ll have more soon…as always.
