Resa is such a lovely giving person, it just touches my heart to have such a wonderfully sweet and gifted friend. I love them all , Marina and Rebecca and the lovely Tangle Heart you let me carve my initials on. Thank you dear Tim.
The talon closeup is an amazing shot! I am glad I am too big to be carried off by one of those owls. The moon is beautiful. Remember that Jimmy Webb song, “The Moon is a Harsh Mistress”?
Doing great. Past the recovery stage and enjoying life. I will be around again. Have a great weekend.
You too.
I loved this post, Tim. That incredible diving owl, wow, what a sight that must’ve been. And the talon close-up, so impressive. And the majestic moon photo with the funny caption. Thanks for sharing the awe, my friend.
Thanks, Jet. The Great Horned owls always seem to dive off their perch and swoop up on the way to wherever they are flying. Unlike most of the other large birds like the herons that just launch themselves off their perches.
Beautiful moonshot 🙂 It’s comforting to know that lonely, battered rock accompanies us through space, marking time, managing the tides, and making our hearts’ delight.
These are amazing photographs Tim! So excellent and astounding!
Thanks, Holly. That’s a wonderful post Resa made for you. You are so well deserving.

Holy Hannah! I love the closeup of those talons. Hugs on the wing.
Thanks, Teagan.

Thanks, Lavinia. I don’t remember that song.
If I remember right, Jimmy Webb asked Robert Heinlein if it was alright to use the title of Robert’s book for his song.

Cool, Tim! An owl’s talons remind me a bit of the watercolor-textured craters on the moon!
Thanks, Linda.
The talon closeup and the moon are wonderful photo’s. Well done
Thanks, Harry.
The owl’s claws are quite impressive.
Beautiful images of the moon!
