Other things getting in the way, that tells you the timekeeper is still at work. The blonde porcupine haven’t seen one of those before.
It’s been around. I posted photos of it a couple of years ago. I hadn’t seen it for quite a while. A porcupine crawled up on the bank right next to me when I was photographing the cranes before sunrise the other morning. Thanks, David.
I was kind of worried about what “for in the way”, then you showed the eagle. Jaw-dropping gorgeous! And so is each photo. Hugs on the wing.

Wonderful captures, Timothy. What a gorgeous NYD sunset. The seagull looks to be on a serious mission. The porcupine is so cute and looks really relaxed. We have lots of eagles hovering around here, but I’m rubbish at photographing birds in flight. Happy 2021. 🙂

Thanks, Dale. She was up about 20 feet I would say. We saw another black porcupine in another tree probably about 30 feet, but there were too many branches to get a clear shot of it.
I never thought they climbed that high. So very cool.

It only seem a few months ago that I had two cars, went on fishing hiolidays, travelled all over the country on fishing holidays with my mates (all gone now), but of course, it was in reality so many years ago.
Still, the memories do not depress me at all, I loved getting out and about, shame we didn’t take more photographs at the time.
Noe all I can take is photos of the flat and views from the window. Humph!

I have a few back porcupine names in mind. I’m thinking Jacquie, but I’d like to see how long the quills are first.

Billy is a good name for a porcupine. They have great Mohawks.
I wonder if Billy and Farrah will have little punk porcupines?
I saw 2 porcupines at the zoo when I was about 10. I was traumatized by seeing them in their cage. One was busy building a dam in the cement pool with wood put there by people. The other was looking through the bars, like a prisoner looking out at freedom.
I’ve never gone to a zoo since.
I know they have better environments for animals now, and that many are endangered, so they are being preserved.
However, at that time in Winnipeg, the zoo cages were mingy, and I did see it as a prison for animals.
They do get together and we see little Punkupines. The little ones are super adorable.
Our zoo was like when I was 10, but then they made a great transformation to more natural enclosures and expanded into a bio park, so it is much better.
I’m glad zoos have reformmed.
