New Mexico has the VLA near Socorro – a very large array of radio telescopes for viewing the cosmos. We have a VSA in our garden – a very small array of cosmos. Speaking of the cosmos, the low sun shining through the clouds on I-40 was quite a scene.

Aren’t the cosmos great?
Love the sun shot, too.
They are great flowers. Alex made a comment on the other cosmos photo that made me realize they look a little like radio telescopes.
Small but wonderful! )
Thanks, Alex! I got the idea for the photo from you.
And again great pictures. Especially love the flowers… How did you do it!? It looks like it’s paste on the background… but it’s not, I’m sure.
Very perceptive, Erica! I masked and grayed out the grass because it was overly saturated and overpowering in the early morning light. Thanks!
