Quite the safari you got going there Tim! Wood Ducks are awesome and you are dead on with the Chat ID. My rule of thumb is that is TOO many Coyotes to be near..figure there are 3 or 4 you didn’t see and they just might get ambitious ha.
I remember the first time I saw wood ducks walking around up high in the cottonwood branches. I was like WTF? You are a bunch of confused ducks!
There were two more coyotes the other direction from us. It was like we and the other person walking on the levee got in the middle of a coyote convention at dusk. Thanks, Brian.
Fabulous treats today.
Thanks, Shey.
Wynona far left in the water? SIX coyotes – wow. That probably qualifies as a “gang” !
Pam
Correct on Wynona. That was what we call in these parts, “A six-pack of coyotes!” Thanks, Pam.
I love Snowy Egret at Dawn!
Thanks, Liz.
Thanks for the fun nature tour Tim!
You are welcome, Brad.
So much wild beauty in your nature, crazy how close the coyotes get to you!
A coyote pup (looked like a teenager) followed us around this morning and got within ten feet of us, acting like it wanted to play. It did a quick brush by Jake at one point. Jake didn’t react at all. Thanks, Tiffany.
Nature all the way, fantastic! I got the six, Tim. With the faller.
Thanks, Inchy.
Lol… the owlets are funny looking; cute as buttons, and funny.
Great beaver shot and love the opening shot.
Yes, I saw 6!
Hey, I actually saw a robin red breast with a worm today. I haven’t seen that for at least 20 years. I used to see lots of them when I was a kid.
The owlets are little aliens. That’s great you saw a robin with a worm. I’ll start seeing more robins as we get into summer. Thanks, Resa.
Lol… little aliens! So cute.
Tim and his zoo! Lucky to live so close to nature.
It’s always a walk on the wildside in these parts. Thanks, Geoff.
❤️❤️❤️ six coyotes. Owlets. Sigh. Wonderful.
A six-pack of coyotes is enough to make one tipsy. Thanks, Gigi.
It’s very exciting. I’ve seen a couple around here and a lot of them live in the city by railroad tracks and in the gardent/bush areas.
A biologist friend said coyotes are the cockroaches of the mammals. I think raccoons are more cockroach-like than coyotes. Thanks, Gigi.
Coyotes are so beautiful and so are raccoons. I know raccoons can make a mess, now and then, but they’re hungry and we are everywhere. As for coyotes. I think they’re great but people do have to watch out for their small pets, that’s for sure.
The owlets are developing nicely. It is good to see them again! I love that golden-copper light playing on the water in the waterbird photos. You find beautu everywhere! I enjoyed all your photos, Tim. Found all the coyotes, and beaver in the river. Nice to see the hummingbirds, too.
One has decided it doesn’t want to be in the nest. It must have had a fight with its sibling. Thanks, Lavinia.
oh my goodness.. Tim.. 6 in that close proximity… they look like pets with no fear, even by the human walking.. 💕😜
Thats a six-pack of coyotes to make you feel a little off center and not even. Thanks, Cindy.
Haha … sure is!!
Wow… that Snowy Egret at Dawn is a shot that would look wonderful framed and hanging in my place 😊. Doesn’t even need to be framed 😂
It would look good as a metal print, which you don’t frame. Thanks, Randall.
Wow what a great wildlife selection.. love the snowy egret
Thanks, Julie.
Beautiful!
Thanks, Dawn.
Yes, 6 coyotes, and one silver fox! xxx
Thanks, Resa.
