Someone left two bowls with a pack of Marlboro cigarettes in the bowls by the south door of the office over the weekend. It’s strange given that a pack of cigarettes is around $8.00 in Albuquerque.
Lol… SItting here bleary eyed first thing, I thought the post said bowl of snakes… And Ialso thought, at least it is not a cup of them. Then I got to the end and thought…okay….well, this is a surprise. So I obvi reread the title.
I read titles wrong all the time. It would not be out of the ordinary for me to post a bowl of snakes. So you had no reason to doubt your eyes. Thanks, Shey.
I love the nails! If I could? I would love to have nails like that. It’s so satisfying hearing the click clack of nails on surfaces
My own nails are finally growing. They were so brittle lol
But picking things up, opening things and using the qwerty keyboard on the phone is hard
When my fingernails get to a certain length, I find it hard to type, probably because I learned on to type on a manual typewriter, and I was taught to arch my wrists down, not back.
Love the sunsets, Tim. Seeing the Marlboro pack brought back “bad” memories. I used to smoke, years ago, and giving the cigs up was so hard. I’d end up throwing the pack in the sink and drowning them. It did work! Imagine don’t know anyone who smokes today. Still editing the sequel. It’s shaping up to be really good. My year taking the UCSD Extension copyediting course is paying off! 🙂
Being a gardener I can’t have nails that long but they are pretty. Whoever left those smokes may want to give up smoking. Cause they sure are pricy!
Have a wonderful day Tim!
The cigarettes and bowls are a bit weird. You are always great at catching an unusual slice of life in Albuquerque, Tim.
The Sandias at dawn are a beautiful scene from The Painter. Spunk is always a lovable character. The nails are beautiful, but I could never work with long nails.
That is an odd offering – maybe someone has hit the turning point and has given them up for good…or someone saw a frozen H20 agent and skedaddled. Been typing since I was 14 (at mother’s insistence if I was going into my chosen career). Pretty sure I would be reduced to hunting and pecking with those daggers. All the powers to her.
That’s Dong Gone Cheap! Maybe the government hasn’t figured out sin taxes. A pack of cigs in NM is $8, and a pack of cigs in NY is $15. It costs almost double to sin in NY than in NM. Thanks, David.
Gorgeous sunrise.
Thanks, Brad.

It was early in the morning… but yeah you had been posting snakes, so I was getting ready for the punchline photo.
Exactly.
And i was the biggest laugh! But hey maybe there’s Marlborough snakes
Anything is possible these days. Thanks, Shey.
Relieved to see it can be done 😉
And done well. Thanks, Couriers.
I wondered how she does it! Her typing is so smooth!
Spunk between nails is imagining his next art.
What a dawn!
Smooth and fast. Spunk is always thinking about new art. Thanks, Marina.

Thanks, Becky. Nails are cool, but brittle nails make having naturally long nails tough.

I learned to type on a manual typewriter, also. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.

I’ve read that nicotine is as addictive as heroine and as difficult to quit. Good to hear the sequel is shaping up. Thanks, Christine.
Thanks, Tim!! 💕
Ah…….so that is where I left them!
Makes sense now. They’re in the bowl waiting for you to come back and get them. Thanks, Geoff.
LOVE those nails and the artist who brought up this amazing art. Truly magnificent!
Thanks, Rebecca. Oriana is talented.

It’s weird. Thanks, Nancy.
Lovely photos and I especially love the shots of the nails!! Beautiful! 💕
Thanks, Samantha.
That actually does seem weird about the cigarettes… especially combined with the bowls. LOL, there’s a story there somewhere, I’m sure of it. 😀 Hugs.
It’s really strange. Thanks Teagan.

The ciggs are too weird. Thanks Lavinia.

Who knows with the smakes. I couldn’t type with long nails. Thanks, Brian.
Maybe someone quit smoking then and there/
LOVE the nails… omg! She is so good at typing with them. Wow!
Please extend my compliments! xx
Oriana has typing down. Thanks, Resa.
YES!
How weird!
In Vietnam a packet of Marlboro costs around 65,000 Dong ($2.50 USD)! Obviously someone made a tragic and costly mistake 🚬 🚫
