That’s a freaky start, but my day started on a sour note with Amazon cancelling orders I had used a gift card to pay. They have issues with their gift card… again. Trying to reboot the day.
Just catching up, Tim. No need to reply unless you want to. I got a bit behind with things here this week. I enjoyed seeing the flora, fauna and clouds down your way.
You sure have a lot of birdlife around you Tim – I would not have guessed that with the number of their sworn enemies you have roaming around your house.
We have a new neighbor who is a birder. I told him how you drive fast through NM because of bad experiences in Las Cruces on your way to Arizona to take off your rainbow shades. He thinks you are really missing out not hanging out in NM. He’s a young engineer who works for Intel on the hill above us. He said he’s saving money to go birding in Costa Rica. Thanks, Brian.
The cloud: I see a big dove.
I’m always amused when I feel like you’ve posted a pic of my black tortie!
how many babies has mama dove produced this season? She seems to be constantly on the nest.
This is her fourth sitting for this year at two dovelettes and sitting with 8 dovelettes so far this year. Thanks, Couriers.
Well you got something of the night heron which is something in itself
Thanks, Shey.
Beautiful pics…Love them all…the mama dove is gorgeous..xx
Thanks, Janet.
You got a great lift off by the night heron.
Thanks, Nancy.
Cool video! Thanks for sharing, Timothy.
You are welcome, Michele.
Great skies. Most herons are very skittish and hard to get close.
This one lets me get close sometimes. othertime no! Thanks Brad.
I think that night heron appeared as a cloud first in your morning sky! 😉
I think you are right. Thanks, Marina.
Beautiful photos!! 🦅💙🐈
Thanks, Samantha.
Night heron had places to go, fish to catch!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
I know it was fun to see the night heron. Glad to see the doves are doing well.
Thanks, Rebecca.
Wow, great video catch, Tim. Marble is looking lovely. I was checking that cloud for the USS Enterprise, but no luck. 😉 Hugs.
No star ships in that cloud. Marina thought Night Heron transformed from the cloud. Thanks, Teagan.

I get really frustrated with Amazon over cancelations and late deliveries.
Amazing tracking of that bird, Tim! 🙌🏽
Thanks, Cindy.

Costa Rica is a birder’s paradise for sure. Trust me, I am not missing anything on the bird front when it comes to high tailing it out of LC area.
You need to come through Albuquerque and visit the bosque.
