Thunderheads building over Resa’s Tree
We got over 1/4 inch of rain today. That is more than March and April combined.

The dragon that brought in the storm

Whose eyes might these be?

Slight clearing in the late afternoon

A wave of clouds splashing over the mountains. Hopefully, more rain.
I love watching clouds grow in the sky like your first and last image.
Thanks, Brad. We get a lot of large thunderheads in the spring and summer.
The marine layer often comes in from the West, over the hills of Palos Verdes, and looks a lot like your rolling clouds pic.
Beautiful images!
Thanks, Leenda.
Oh my…lovely.
Thanks, Shey.
It’s been cloudy and windy here. I’m not sure if it’s clouds of smoke or nature’s clouds though lol
Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference. Thanks, Becky.
You got some gorgeous cloud shots there, Tim.
I’m going to go with one of the girls in that photo. I don’t think it is Loki.
It is Loki. Thanks, Lavinia.
He fooled me! 🙂
I love the drama of that last photo!
Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim.
Ah, now… these are Clouds! Both spectacular and beneficial. What more can one ask! One question though, are you sure it was the dragon bringing the rain? It looks like Loki might have something to do with it!
Loki and the dragon need to do a lot more. Thanks, Marina.
Love these pics, was that Loki peeking out? We got some sprinkles yesterday too, need more though. Have a great week Tim!😊
That is Loki peeking through the hole. Thanks, Tiffany.
I see some one playing peek a boo. Your skies are gorgeous!
Thanks, Nancy.
Magnificent cloud-scapes, Tim. I love thinking of them as the dragon and the wave. Loki is adorable. (I admit I checked comments because I couldn’t tell if it was him or one of the girls.)
Rain: The weatherman said we got 0.22 inches, but I think it was half that. Still, similarly to what you said, that’s more than what we had down here in the whole year combined. Happy May. Hugs.
We got more precipitation in January and February, but not much more. We need a lot more. Thanks, Teagan.
My tree and the others are so luscious green, and with so little water.
Glenda?
Lovely clouds and wonderful rain.
Thanks, Robbie. We have received a little over 1/2 inch.
We have had lots and lots of rain this year. It is not usual and I am grateful. 1/2 inch is a start.
Resa’s tree looks pretty darn lush despite the lack of rain Tim. Loki is a cutie and of course that sky is amazing! 💕
Thanks, Cindy.
We have been getting inches of rain here for the last couple of days making up for the previous dry month(s). I mowed the day before it started and I looked like Pig Pen when I was done from all the dust.
The cats want to know if you shook off the dust and licked yourself clean like they do. Thanks, Brian.
Linda frowns on that behavior ha
