    • Beaker is still going and is as ordinary as ever. He has arthritis in one foot, but he still gets around his perches. Thanks, Lavinia.

  1. Tim, this is a great gallery. The wisteria is gorgeous. I lived somewhere where many neighborhoods had it, but I’ve never seen it closeup like that.

Søren is looking handsome. Sasah looks happy, and Loki is adorable. Hugs.

    • Thanks, Teagan. The wisteria does not like cold. A little frost, and poof, all gone. Thanks, Teagan.

  2. I just read an article in the NY Times magazine that said, among other things, that parrots are about as smart as a human 5-year old. Not to give Jake short shrift – it said dogs are about as bright as a 2 1/2-year old, and Jake is above average.

    • Our conures are like perpetual 3-year-olds. Søren is definitely as smart as a five-year-old and a smart-ass as well. He’s a foul-beaked bird. Thanks, Princess.

  3. Ah, Tim… in the name of color and beauty! Going through your images, pink clouds, that gorgeous wisteria [mine has never flowered – I hope next year when it acclimates], sweet poser Søren, Sasha and then …Loki closing the lot with an adorable look! The look of “I love you, Paparazzo!”

  4. Limited flower knowledge here beyond what I’ve learned from you posts, but the Wisteria caught my eye as that is the name of the street my parents moved to when I went off to college – they failed to inform me of that at the time so I am not sure what that says about me hahahaha.
