The image from the walk with Jake caught my eye. I had to ask myself “why.” I think because it shows just how brilliant and clear the light is here (most days, anyway) in mid day.
Of course I love the dawn and sunset skies, but that image shows the brilliance and clarity of the light here, even at midday. 🙂
These pictures made me realise how we always notice ‘things’ like clouds everyday, and rarely observe them. Thank you for posting these photographs here and making me hit pause and rethink.
A wonderful sky to wake up to! We had a hugs snowstorm and now the forecast is for sunny skies. I have yet to see those sunny skies, Tim, so your post has been a fabulous way to celebrate “blue skies”. I am sure that there is a song about that!!! LOL!!
That’s a grossy buffer between the street and an electronics manufacturing facility associated with one of our community colleges. Jake loves to walk, pee, and take a crap in that area. #@*$% Dogs! Thanks, Resa.
Great-looking skies. Always nice to see them, Tim.
Thanks, Nancy.

You are right about the clarity of mid-morning sunshine. I noticed the scene and had to capture it. Thanks, Susan.
Great angle on that first pic!
Thanks, Leenda.
And no two clouds are alike! I loved all the images. I agree, the mid morning walk light is very sharp and clear.
Thanks, Lavinia.

Ah, that fiery Dusk …but then all is wonderful!
Thanks, Marina.

Now my tree looks like a drama queen.
That’s a neat looking area where you’re walking Jake. The Sandias make a surreal back drop.
