Winter’s Moon Metal

Winter’s Moon Metal: Lirycs by Timothy Price. Music and Vocals by Teagan Ríordáin Geneviene.

This is the Metal version of the song I made with electric guitar, bass, and percussion instead of piano and acoustic guitar. The vocals and melody are the same as the version of Winter’s Moon I posted yesterday with piano and acoustic guitar. The Metal backing track really affects the mood and feeling of the song.

  1. I enjoyed yesterday’s post. The metal music, to me, brings out more of the meaning. Listening to this version, I felt Teagan’s vocals were emphasized (I know that is an odd comment, but that is how I heard it).
I can’t wait to see what the two of you produce next…🙂

    • Thanks, Susan. I agree, it’s a completely different vibe. Yet both have that same starkness. Tim did a great job again. I still don’t know for sure which I like best. 😀 Thanks for listening and commenting. Hugs!

    • Thanks, Susan. I think the metal version emphases the darker side of the lyrics. I wrote the lyrics right after the election. So your comment is not odd in the least.

        • Thanks. Lavinia. I think the style of music people are used to listening to determines which version they prefer.. I like both versions.

    • Thanks, Teagan. I’m might post the version with acoustic guitar and bass tomorrow. I’ll see what other else comes up.

  2. Egads! The wolf moon is rising over my tree. Awesome!

    EXCELLENT!

I just love this song. The metal version is a lot of fun.

Well done Tim xo & Teagan (you sound marvellous) hugs. Thank you so very much!

  3. This is the 4th time I stopped by to listen to Teagan sing!! She is amazing. Tim – this is a wonderful collaboration – music lyrics, voice and photography. Thank you Teagan and Tim!!!

    • It’s HD, it was a huge file I uploaded to YouTube. I know they compress the files, but the I suspect that size file will not load without a fast connection. Thanks, Brian.
