Having two very much older brothers, I am very familiar with the concept of getting the crap beat of of you until dad comes home and then quickly transitioning into a faux embrace just before he enters the room to keep from getting in trouble.
Having a mean older sister and an older brother who was not quite as mean, I experienced that same thing. Spunk is nice to Gwendolyn, but then again, she’s a lot bigger than he is and could easily kick his furry ass. Thanks, Brian.
