Fascinating to listen to the sound of rain while the sun is shining. Nature’s quiet reminder that love and beauty exists in contrasts, doesn’t it?
SomeRose, lovely! A name with a difference! Did you cultivate it yourself, or is there a story behind that name? I’m really curious.
Speaking of the letter S. Surely, surely there must be a prettier spider out there to show? The poor thing look like it’s been startled out of the web. Gorgeous eyes though.
Cats in a tree, I’m sure Spooky and Silver know what they are doing.
The rose is called Veteran’s Honor. Some Rose was retorical to have a word that started with S. Also like a general rose and a beautiful rose. Thank, abvr.
You would not sleep well in the high desert of NM, since it rarely rains here. You are like W.C. Fields, who could not fall asleep without listening to rain on the roof.
That’s a very cute spider, but I prefer S for Spunk. 🐱
I don’t think Daphne or Velma would have stayed that close to rain. But maybe no splashes get inside there. They run as fast as they can if I splash so much as a drop of water. Lovely rain though. Thanks for the video. Hugs.
Our cats go out in the catio and come in wet. They don’t mind rain or wetness. Marble sticks her head under the fountain to drink water. Then she rubs on us with a wet face. Silly cats. Thanks, Teagan.
Those are the sweet spiders who like to play. My adult granddaughter loves them so much. She played with one at work. Love the sound of rain on a tin roof…for awhile, at least. LOL Cats are always fabulous.
Jumping spiders like to play, and they have adorable personalities. Folks in Roswell didn’t like the sound of rain on their roofs. They got almost 6 inches of rain and massive flooding on Saturday. The last time they got that much rain was in 1901. Thanks, Gigi.
Was there a rainbow? Love the sound of rain and especially when the sun is shining.
Did you get more rain? I saw where New Mexico got a lot of flooding. I hope all is okay.
I like your porch and love the sound of rain, which we’re in dire need of some. Cute jumping spider you have too.
The deck is nice. We have an outdoor kitchen we use most of the year. Jumping spiders are adorable, Thanks, Brad.
It sounds like a nice set up.
I’ll take the sound of rain and the rose but pass on the spider.
But jumping spiders are adorable. Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim. We’ll have to agree to disagree on the subject of spiders.
Sounds like an agreeable, disagreeable arrangement.
🙂
A nice variety. 🙂
Thanks, Rebecca.
I love when the sun shines but the rains fall! Wonderful.!
S is for Spectacular!
Thanks, Dale. I added Some to the Rose to make for all S’s.
Fabulous sound and video! Love nature captures, too. Thank you for sharing.

Hello Timothy, it’s been a while
The rose is called Veteran’s Honor. Some Rose was retorical to have a word that started with S. Also like a general rose and a beautiful rose. Thank, abvr.
Oh thats quite a strong name.
Yes I gathered as much with the S.
You are welcome Timothy
Thanks, Michele.
Clearly Spunk and Silver enjoy the sound of rain from a safe view point…which I do:). That’s a very hairy spider……………
Thanks, Janet.
I always love the sound of rain. It helps me to fall asleep at night.

Super Special Shots.
Thanks for all the S-words, Shey.
Lol. x
Now that looks like a cute little spider…. 🙂
It was adorable. Thanks, Sue.

Thats a lot of rain for sure. Flooding is a nightmare. Hope all is well. We all love jumping spiders. They truly are so cute.

No rainbow we could see. Thanks, Nancy.
Spooky spider you got there, perfect for the coming holiday. Had to stare at the Spunk shot for a bit until I figured out what was up, cute.
That Spunk shot is S for Confucius, say “Spunk shot confusing!” Thanks, Brian.
I enjoyed them all, Tim. Glad to see you getting some rain after all the summer drought.
Thanks, Lavinia.
All!
The video is wonderful, Tim.
The sound is soothing, and that catio is such a haven. Spunkie-Poo 💋 & Silver are in a cat heaven.
Thanks, Resa.
I love they are domesticated wild wanna be’s in the catio.. cute. That spider is so furry! 🎃
Thanks, Cindy.
