Sandias @ Sunset

Osric Owl would not open his eyes for me at first. He finally woke with a hoot and gave me a “Stupid Paparazzo! And spell my name right!” look.

Nora Owl was looking sleepy also. That’s an indication the owlets might have hatched.

Nice Owls. Looks like someone is watching you.
I think I was really annoying poor old Osric trying to get in a power nap. Thanks, Brad.
❤️❤️❤️
Thanks, Gabriela.
Osric Owl knows how to communicate his opinions. And you know how to read them.🙂
We have learned over the years.
O W O W. as in wow not wowls
Wowls it is. Thanks, Shey.
To wit to wowl..
OO is probably wondering “when does he rest!” Love the look… and the watermelon Sandias, and sleepy NO, and the busy beaver, and the tree with no name trapping the sun. It’s a beautiful day.
There’s no rest for the owls it seems. Thanks, Marina.
…or the paparazzo!
Cute! ^^;
Thanks, Yolanda.
Beautiful photos!
Thanks, PS.
Did you wake him, Paparazzo? There will be no rest when those babies are born, you know!
Yes, I woke him. Bad Paparazzo! I think they have hatched by the look of Nora Owl. Thanks, Dale.
No wonder he gave you the stink eye 😉
Oooh… owlets in the Paparazzo’s camera soon to be shared on his blog!
Pesky Paparazzo!
Lucky for us! 😉
Despite being pestered, I think Osric is happy for the world to see what a handsome fellow he is.
You might just be right on that one! He is so very handsome.
A fun mix of photos.
Thanks, Brad.
These sunset pictures are really lovely – I especially like seeing the beaver..:) – it’s lovely to think that he/she is totally unaware of being observed.
Thanks, Janet. The beavers are really good at ignoring me. Although, I did get a beaver slap yesterday.
Ha. I wondered what that post title was going to mean. I’m relating to the sleepy owls. I just wore myself out doing my taxes. That beaver is too cute. Have a thriving Thursday, Tim. Hugs.
Ugh! Taxes. One can have fleeting moments wonder if death is preferable. Thanks, Teagan.
Sandias at sunset is such a beautiful photo! Osric did a very good job of giving you the stink eye.
He sure did. A pesky paparazzo am I! Thanks, Liz.
You’re welcome, Tim. 😀
Excellent photo’s Nora is so well camouflaged in there.. 🙂
She blends in. Thanks, Sue.
Perfectly..
All among my favorite things there, Tim. The Sandias look beautiful, and I love the black lace tree with the setting sun shining through it. That is a very beautiful composition.
I am looking forward to seeing the owlets! I bet Osric had a busy night of catching food for his family. It was good to see Bite ‘Em on the Old Shin Bone Beaver, too.
The Conservancy has finally started leaving the beaver dams in place, so I haven’t had reason to re-post Bit ‘Em on the Old Shin Bone. Thanks, Lavinia.
That is good news. Now beavers can concentrate on the business of maintaining dams and lodges.
And managing water much better than we do.
gorgeous shots
Thanks, Sylvia.
Doesn’t get prettier than this. Can’t wait to hear if the owlette’s have hatched💕
I’m pretty sure they have. WE just have to wait till their big enough to look out of the nest. Thanks, Cindy.
Oboy, Baby owls!
Great shots Tim! xx
Fingers crossed on the owlets! Always brightens my day when I see those furballs stick their heads out of the nest/tree. Unfortunately I missed my check on the GHO in Texas (and Arizona) this year and need to hunt one down here where it is much harder to track them down. I would also do a disservice to my high school days if I did not comment with a “Nice Beaver!”
Wynona! Big and brown. We’re checking on the owls daily. Thanks, Brian.
Looking forward to seeing those owlets .. I bet you are too! Great shots Tim ..
They are peeking out of the nest. Thanks, Julie.
Wonderful!
