Beep! Beep!

Beep! Beep!

“Hey, Paparazzo! Have you seen Wile E. Coyote around?”

“Why Yes! I just saw him on the ditch bank!”

“Gotta go. I’m running late!” Beep! Beep!

Algae expressionism

  1. That is a beautiful shot of the Sandias, and a handsome road runner, Tim. The artistic algal bloom and foam was a nice find, too. Water levels must be warm and low.

Rain most of the day here today with a little sun in late afternoon.

    • Thanks, Lavinia. The area with the algae is normally dry. It’s runoff from rain on the west mesa and a little rain in Corrales.

    • I think roadrunners are direct descendants of velociraptors. They are about the same size. Roadrunners are always sizing you up to see if they can whack you on the ground and eat you. Thanks, Shey.

  2. The famous Road Runner is back and alive and kicking! It brings me back to my favourite cartoons when I was a kid…

  3. What a handsome little fella. And good to give him warning 😉
That alge is beautiful in an impressionistic way. Environmentally? Mayhaps not?

  4. Also that is probably the most beautiful image of algae I have ever seen. We have a pond near my parents’ house covered in algae (due to geese that poop there a lot, leading to algae bloom) – it does not look as picturesque as your photo.

  5. Justice for Wile E. Coyote!!!! Sorry that was a reflexive thought from childhood! 🤣
Still, seeing the cute little guy, I hope Wile E. Coyote doesn’t find him!
I see your painter does algae too! Amazingly well too!

  6. Nice shots of the roadrunner (one of my “inked” totem animals as you could probably surmise why). Don’t see a lot of them around while down South.
