I think roadrunners are direct descendants of velociraptors. They are about the same size. Roadrunners are always sizing you up to see if they can whack you on the ground and eat you. Thanks, Shey.

Also that is probably the most beautiful image of algae I have ever seen. We have a pond near my parents’ house covered in algae (due to geese that poop there a lot, leading to algae bloom) – it does not look as picturesque as your photo.
